TeamViewer connects to any PC or server around the world within a few seconds. You can remote control your partner's PC as if you were sitting right in front of it.


What i was thinking is, since i had a recent problem, & i asked toxic to help me out, and he did. Anyways, making sessions to help you guys with your computer problems guided by computer heads, such as jesa, and im one myself, and along with toxic and others who are willingly to help. And ofcourse leaving comments on how good the help was, rating helpers, *stars can come back for the rates, eh lumi?* , could help fairplay problems beyong the ones that are on F.A.Q?

Nice, they have a Mac client too so I might give it a try. If you have disabled remote desktop services on your pc then this might not work so you need to enable them.

Mind renaming the topic something more descriptive than "Just a thought?" ?

it is very reliable, even if you allow people to control your computer you can always take the control back within the touch your mouse

yes, its the best program for free that gives you remote control over another person's computer.

Another one is logmein, used to use it long time ago, only one good thing about logmein(imo) is that you don't need your friend's or your computer's permission to use it. For example you've got a computer at home and one at work. You can leave home computer on, and use it from the place you work. BTW i forgot to mention, this thing works from my school too! when I use a proxy

Crossloop would be another alternative, but its way too slow and you have to login every single time which sux.
