Hey doc, I'm not clear on how the tournament will look like. Are we playing 3 group matches, 1 quarterfinal, 1 semifinal, 1 gold and 1 bronze game?

I think it is best that we plan schedule when we have all interested clans signed up, it's an open cup so everyone will be allowed to play.

yes, admin/referee too - he will have to check it every few rounds, and kick those whose fp is crashed/turned off
in case of players, he will have to wait till the round is finished.

suggestion: don't allow specs, since when your specing someone then your way more likely to spot something than them(since they are concentrating on 1 spot mostly) and you can tell them on vent/ts

Allow audience... a few invitations wouldn't hurt, and they must be on FP. Password on server though.

good question
if there's a person on spec he can join up
if not that are two options
1.) if the opponent team agrees Referee can give the 5mins time to find 5th
2.) if the opponent team agrees the game can continue 4vs4
3.) if the opponent team insist upon playing, the game will continue 4vs5
(breaking the flow of the game, may cost the winning team the match so we have to grant them this option)
4.)Also if the game is already decided it is advised to play on.

agreed, but both team captain & admin have to agree for certain player to spec. And yes fp is also a must for specs- and real name.

Why you want to have spectators? You know ppl will abuse vent or any other software. Match admin should be enough.

Doc, I think it would be unfair to continue 4v5 if someone left, just because 1 guy is leaving... they can't help it, let the other team decide 1 to spec but if they manage to get a 5th back then let it be 5v5 again. Also, it might not always be ragequit, maybe PC shut down, game freezes etc, but I'd say wait a 2-5 minutes and see what happens, otherwise continue 4v4 cause minimum is actually 4v4 so why not.

The specs might be locked but you can still see cargo or patio w/e(atleast that was last time i checked inf tho), and i dont see a reason that people need to spec...
And I always rather play without specs but thats my opion. I say let the teams decide for themself if they want spectators.

Not if they're on FP and how else would they be able to give positions? As long as the ingame players aren't totally deaf or blind I don't think you can help them.

Also it's not like anyone unknown abuser will be invited, mostly known and respect people around the community, and the Referee can always deny the person to spectate.
