The idea of this topic is to compare Demobase users' computers and give a general idea how good they perform on games.
3DMark05 is a benchmarking program from Futuremark and it benchmarks your system's gaming performance. Futuremark has also newer and more impressive benchmarks like 3DMark06 and 3DMark Vantage but they have greater minimum system requirements. So, I chose 3DMark05 as our benchmark which will run on almost everyone's pc here.
1. Download & install 3DMark05 from here http://www.futuremar...nload/3dmark05/
2. Run 3DMark05
3. Post your results (3DMark Score and CPU score) here with your computer specs!
My system: Intel Core 2 Duo T7700, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 XT, 4GB 667mhz DDR2, Windows 7.
I got 7437 3DMarks and 10759 CPUMarks with default clocks first but then I overclocked my gfx a bit and my final 3DMark Score was 8865

Why the file is so big Jesa? 290 MB here to download? I thought it was only a scanner, but it can do more?

Its not a scanner, it's a tester. It tests the capabilities of your GPU and CPU for example by rendering some game scenes, 3d shapes and the-like.

fastest so far (A) jesa has a lil higher cpu score which suprises me, since mine should be better =[
ohyes, i was running a few programs (skype,msn,steam,firefox with 10 pages,chrome,teamviewer,itunes,explorer,RAVCpl64,TEAtimer and few more standard programs) while running 3Dmark05. i guess it has some influence on this matter since it costs me like a shitload of ram and cpu xd

Expected better though, especially when Xillax has more 3DMark Score but a less CPU score, but I guess his ATI Radeon HD 4850 gfx-card is better than my GeForce GTS 250.

I had nothing else on. Try again without those programs on and you should beat me easily.
It's better to reign in Demobase than serve in heaven
