No suprise at all. They had 7 defending-minded players in their team who used the long ball. Too bad they have three excelent players (kaka robinho fabiano) who can create a chance out of nowhere. Brazil also was more aggresive than The Netherlands, NL haven't had any chance in the first half lol.
Cesar fucked it up together with this noob defenders, as the Dutch Experts already mentioned.
And after that NL was playing better and made a superb goal out of a corner.
Lame this lowlife midfielder, guy from the streets, kicked Robben on a harsh way.

The weak point of Brazil, the corners, was showed by The Netherlands, so they played really smart.

Midfield, i only agree on van bommel and de jong being as good/better as brasils dm.
What has van persie done so far? Imo he's like torres, not in shape (maybe being a bit too harsh now but still, expected way more).
Luis Fabiano is a real killer and Robinho has been one of the best players (next to villa, xavi, ozil and honda) of this world cup so far, so creative.

Did you even watched the game? Brazil controlled the whole game. Chili got it's chances because Brazil players practically stopped playing during the second half-time. Same happened againist North-Korea. At first they couldn't get their game running because it was the first match of World Cup, but then they just destroyed North-Korea and started hibernating. That's why North-Korea scored. You can see it yourself when Brazil is playing as they should. They just destroy the enemy with their defence. One of the best defences in this World Cup.

Only thing that's wrong is Brazil getting sleepy after 2-3 goals which gives their opponents a chance to score few goals.

It'll be Brazil or Germany for the cup.

As you can see Brazil mostly stops playing after they've destroyed the enemy. They hit 2-3 goals and give up, they quit playing serious. They play exactly as much as it's needed to win. You could also see it from the last game where they destroyed Chili and stopped playing. Watch the game again and see the movement of their players. They didn't fight for the ball anymore because they knew the match was done. That's why Brazil opponents have had great chances to score in the end.

Still standing behind everything i said there, Maicon is way better than Vanderwiel, your central defenders have proven to be weak (especially first half) and Van Persie still did nothing.
+ The bold part, don't know why you're trying to make a point by quoting me on this one tbh. You being online on the fridaynight holland got to the semis already proves enough, tschuss, i'd even consider celebrating in holland somewhere when u get to finals.
