why they work?


When you refresh your server list, you ask the Ravensoft's master server to send you an updated list of servers. You couldn't see any servers since the master server was down. The favourite servers list works a bit different. It doesn't use the Ravensoft's master server at all but directly polls by ip the servers you have added to your favourites. If the favourite servers are up they appear online in your favourites.
It's better to reign in Demobase than serve in heaven
