- 5 1on1's (every player in the war plays one).

- The players in the team that won the knife round at the start can choose:
- SIDE - which side they play on in their 1on1 (eg: you can use glitching/camping more in red)
- ORDER (eg: the best players last)
- OPPONENT - which player of the opposite team (eg: snugg chooses butcher as opponent in the other team because he sucks)

- After 5 such 1on1 rounds, the team with the most won 1on1's (3 or more) goes through

- Also important: At the start of the 1on1, all players that arent involved in the 1on1 will type kill.
(Admin will say: everyone except player X and player Y type kill, or else force/ban)

not only this will stimulate a team to take the knife round more seriously, it is also a more logical, fair way to settle a one-hour match compared to playing an extension of another one-hour match to settle it, which is just really inaccurate because of tiredness, lack of time, boredness, etc...

furthermore it is a way more exciting and spectacular method to decide who goes through (imagine ur playing such a vital 1on1 with 8 specs of both teams and you HAVE to win it).

Seems like a solid idea but what comes to mind first for me is; aren't these cups all about teamwork? That's why it's called 5on5 and not 5 1on1s.. even as an extension I'd say no.

imo rematch is fine, you have to have toughness to play a rematch a win it.
So if i'd run a cup i'd say normal rematch, but your suggestion is interesting.
Maybe 2x5 overtime would be somewhere in the middle of that.

Well if a cupwar ends in 15-15, isn't it kinda obvious that teamwork of both sides is equal. Therefore, this method relies more on the individual differences in two clans to decide who wins. Let's just give this method a name like Snugg's Penalties or something and make it available to future cupadmins. They will have to choose between the regular extension war or Snugg's Penalties as a decision rule in knockout stages.

I disagree. Just because the cupwar ends in a tie doesn't mean teamwork is equal.. for example if nC were to tie c4, it would probably be because of teamwork.. go into 1on1s and nC doesn't stand a chance.

lol your argument just supports my point. The teamwork in c4 would be of the same level of the teamwork in nC, but the individual skill would be different and if this can be proven in the 1on1's, then c4 would deserve to go through.

haha ike yea, snugg's penalties is a way better name than just penalties ;s

That's not what I said.. individual skill of c4 is obviously better which means nC would have better teamwork at that point.. bluntly.. make it 1on1 and nC won't stand a chance.. that's what I'm saying.

Rematch or extension seems fine as it is. Besides, comparing to football as you did, you actually skipped the 30min x2 extension and went straight for the penalties.

Doctor's overtime;

2x5 arc
added to the final score

if game draws A 19-19 B
and team A wins 7-6 then the score says A 26-25 B (OT)*
*stands for overtime!
if they draw again then you play 2nd overtime (2OT).

takes less time then both another game and Snugg's penalties.
Oh and team that started the regular game in blue
starts OT in red and vice versa.

I don't like this idea since this is all about teamwork, I think the clan who delivered the best teamwork and results are deserving to go throught, not the individual skill of players.. which is NOWAY to prove in a 1 on 1, atleast not in 1 round, come on..

It's more like penalties like you say, which is a fucking lottery of who's going throught, sorry if I say so.

I like Docters idea, we were planning to do 2x5, but ended up with 2x10.
Since there are no official rules for this apparantly.

takes more time than snugg's penalties. Your idea would take about 2x10-15 mins, max 30 mins whereas mine would take more like 5 x 1-2 mins, max 10 mins. I dno, it's kinda too similar to the regular clanwar extension as it is now. Maybe replace the regular extension with your idea doctorfunk, cus seriously 2 wars in a row is way too biased, boring and time consuming

Time consuming is better than individual skill judgement tbh.

Sorry Snugg, the idea is good but I'd rather go for a rematch, 2x5 or a sudden death of any kind than "penalties"

aww seems like the most boring option is more popular but ok. let's just convert the current rules to 2 options:
- Doctor's 2x5
- Snugg's Penalties

cupadmins can choose which to use (maybe make sticky, doctor)

ok joey thats personal preference, but i know i'd sure like to settle any clanwar with 5 1on1's that last 10 mins most, is way more exciting/spectacular/fairer than playing an identical rematch (tiredness, boredness, different ppl have different concentration spans, the list goes on) against any clan whether its c4 or nuke

I agree, snugg calls it individual skill, if I get glitched from benches does it make me a noob compared to this other guy?
The idea itself is funny, but it's nowhere near fair.. but ye, 2x10 is too much to play after a cupwar, we could change that perhaps.
