Many years ago when SOF2 demo first came out my friend introduced me to the game. He used the nick "gray_fox" which is from the original Metal Gear Solid. At first I only played with him under his name for like a week until I installed it for myself.

I had a hard time coming up with a name, but I remember I was watching an episode of the anime show "Cowboy Bebop" and the characters were looking for information about a girl called Edward who was a computer hacker(I know its weird a girl is called Edward) and some people they asked referred to her as "Radical Ed." So that name stuck for a while.

After playing public a couple weeks a player that I played with a lot asked me to help him start a clan in SOF2 Demo. His plan was to move to SOF2 Full when it came out shortly. He was called Drunken Canadien and he was also the leader of a Tribes clan(or another game similar, I can't remember) called -=dust=- the dustmen. I was the first member of his clan -=dust=- and we were a pretty good clan in the first months of sof2 demo but we never played any wars that I know of. Hardly any wars at all were played during this time. Some of you may know the player from NoTagGaming called (AsS)Midnight, well he was also in the original -=dust=- with me and Drunken Canadien. He was BaTmAn -=dust=- and I was Radical Ed -=dust=-. There was also a player who stopped playing a couple years ago, but he also wore the -=dust=- tag maybe some of you remember this name he was crystaxio -=dust=- (I can't remember the exact spelling.)

I remember -=dust=- became pretty popular we had like 15 members but for some reason I slowly stopped playing SOF2 Demo until one day I just stopped entirely. It took me 4 or 5 months to start playing again and by the time I did, Drunken Canadien was gone (maybe he tried to move -=dust=- to sof2 full, I never knew). I still wore the -=dust=- tag for a while playing only public. I played in servers like boftas superserver, dead factory and clint eastwood's (before it became a demobuster server and was always empty) but I mostly played in huh's Superserver, home of -=OG=- clan which was probably the most popular inf public server at the time. I played often there with other -=OG=- players and many oldschool players who are still around. I remember GzuZ and Mr NiceGuy and someone from haze were in Sonofsimp's clan -|Boss|- at the time.

The best clan at the time was probably -LOM- Myzrael's clan but it was run by Erasmus and Clint Eastwood and Dead Factory because Myz was inactive for some reason. But FatherChristmas' clan [aR] was also very good but they never played any wars, only like once a month. -=OG=- was the 3rd clan in the discussion I think because they had great players like TheBoss NL and BRAVO PL and Moh, and also great snipers like GangstA and Moose(Yes, they used to be 2 of the best snipers in inf/elim). I played with them a while and one day GangstA, the leader of -=OG=- told me I could join his clan. I thought about changing my name, and removing the dust tag but I decided to keep it for the good memories I had about the first months of SOF2 demo playing with drunken canadien and other players. -=dust=- itself was too long though so my name became -=OG=- Radical Ed |dust|.

I had this name for a long long time but sometimes I used variations of it like -=OG=- Radical or just -=OG=- Rad. By the time the glory days of -=OG=- were gone as TheBoss and many others quit, I also decided to leave -=OG=-. I played with the name Radical for a couple weeks until GzuZ asked me to join his clan -HaZe- which I knew very well because OG and HaZe had been like rival clans for over a year. I felt like Anakin in Stars Wars going to the dark side because I had been loyal to OG for so long. Of course the -HaZe- tag is very unique because the name goes between two of the lines |. So I changed my name for good to -HaZe- |Radical|. Sometimes I switch to just -HaZe- |Rad| or just -HaZe- |RA| and also I used a name -HaZe- |ViolentByDesign| a few times which came from an album by Jedi Mind Tricks.
