Bakkum make sure you have the microphone cable in the right HOLEEEE...

In mumble settings tick the advanced box in the left bottom corner.
Go to Output options.
Under Audio Output, untick "while users talk" and "while you talk".
That would be the trick!

Try to see if the hardware from this microphone is broken on 'Hardware devices'.
And if it does work, try to test it at another friend his computer.
It's kinda a waste to throw away a microphone meanwhile you could maybe do more research about the problem.

yoo guys i finaly fixed my problem :S
i turned of the "Digitale Audio - [S/PDIF] and my mic worked again. But i want to know where the Digitale audio thing is for ?
