whats with the war vs prestige? we didnt rq at all.. ye the war had some pauses, some long too, both clans were irritated in all ways.. we started blue side, and when i was getting a sub it was 'aMeX' who all RQ'ed.. some bs u can post abu..

tbh the pauses were so fucking annoying that we got another war in the time it took for your members to reconnect or sub. that's like 10 minutes of pausing.
thus it's a forfeit pretty much. dont flatter yourself, you would've lost anyway. we were playing with 3 roof and shit lol.
i never understand how it literally takes people 4-5 minutes to connect to a server. with ctf_update it takes me a total of 30 seconds to load fp and join a server. the rest is just time wasting or you looking for a vip to war. next time, ask your members if they can stay the entire war instead of having them leave within 10 minutes of starting the war

Not everyone has bestest PC, forgy.
And yet. This game came out 8 years ago. For fucks sake man, upgrade your PC once in a while. Who the fuck still runs Windows 2000 or XP?
My PC was 289 dollars and by far the bestest. Besides, it's not like anyone plays with highest graphics anyway. This game is a joke to run. It takes minimal amounts of RAM. Plus, FPS aside, connecting to a server shouldnt account for PC, it accounts for ISP. I can understand if you're running 56k modems, but for fucks sake, who does that on demobase and still has the patience to play a game online.
Fairplay doesn't cause any kind of downtime except uploading pak files, it's just a fucking script. And connecting to a server is two-three clicks of a mouse. I'd understand if it takes them a while to load the server with -1 ping connecting.
You're just as stupid as most.

Literally, you have to have a computer from 15 years ago to take 10 minutes to go from desktop to server. Unless you have a random ass location of your sof2 folder and no shortcut on desktop or start menu and it always changes so you have to search for it.
Considering the majority of members that war are currently in their teens or twenties, I doubt you got your first PC when you were 5-10 years old without upgrading. I used to play sof2 on an old PC of 8 years that had 256 MB of RAM on it and Windows XP and a shitty processor. I still could connect within 30 seconds. That was before fairplay was ridiculously slow. Before fairplay existed.
If you have a shittier computer than that, you shouldn't even be able to run explorer and sof2 at the same time. Sure I can understand people not caring to upgrade their PCs. But come on, even your day-to-day social networking and internet usage requires some sort of hella patience or a PC that isn't 10+ years old.
