The admins will discuss about a propper punishment for Turqua.

To answer Turqua's questions:

Since I find it quiet funny that an admin posts something that could start a new discussion and closes the topic after, I made a new topic to discuss about what shifty said(assuming he speaks behalve all of the admins).

Original topic was closed by an admin for spam, I reopened, replied... more flame ensued, so I reclosed. The reply I made in the first topic were my views only, not of demobase or any other admins here. I wont be picking sides in this particular matter.

There are many other people who have the ability to hack with Fairplay, for example you, Xillax and Burpicane. Not having the ability to hack with Fairplay was never a requierment to play in Demobase supported cups. Fairplay is just software to filter the noobh2x0rz out, you know that as well as I do.

The best we can do is assume a FP user is clean until proven otherwise.

So basically, I could turn this method in and play in cups while I cheat trough other methods? This makes NO sense. If you waste your time on patching this method my man will hack Fairplay in a matter of seconds so this will start all over again, and you have to waste your time all over again. AND YOU IM NOT TALKING SHIT LMAO.

Again, we can only go on the evidence we have. If we patch the problem we have to assume youre clean again even if youre not, as retarded as it sounds. Is FP good? its alright. Can your boy hack it in seconds? probably.

You will not fix this unless I send this to you, nice try.

Maybe I cant - sometimes the only way to fight cheaters is with the communities help.

I understand that the admins want to save their face in front of the whiny Demobase crowd, giving publicity to this by making a public topic about this was the worst thing you could do. Now whole Demobase knows how much of an anti-cheat Fairplay is. One of the reasons I'm keeping this for myself is that the makers of Fairplay can easily accept .dll's and .pk3's in Fairplay which only Shifty and/or Xillax have to know about. I refuse to be your bitch and accept the fact that you have total control about what's "right" and what's "wrong". Don't get me wrong tough, I appreciate what you've done for sof and what you are still doing for sof. Without Demobase we would probably have to lick Netboss' nuts to play in cups. But the only thing I do not understand is that I have to become a victim of your stupidity. I'll be waiting for your reply .

The dll and pk3 lists were actually gonna be public with the next version and I agree that xillax should have handled it differently. Ive learnt a shit ton about coding and cheats while working on FP and Im hoping this new version will reflect that. I also hope FP isnt being caught up in your beef with xillax/demobase/admins (if you did intend to help that is, before xillax made the topic), because the only person it screws is me.

ALL anti-cheats can & will be hacked, your cheat didn't prove or disprove how good/bad FP is.

I sincerely hope that the majority of sof2 players aren't naive enough to think it can't be hacked. It's just the best their is at this moment, and is good enough to stop the vast majority of cheaters from being able to cheat.

For me, that fact that there has only been 1* "public" freely downloadable hack for it in the 2-3 years that it has been around is pretty nice(but then again, we play a pretty low activity game which most cheat coders aren't interested in).


* the one which our very own wurzil1975 posted on a cheat website -- it wasn't a hack as such, but it was a way to inject a hack which fp didn't notice back then. And it was fixed within a few days.
