People can start testing the new FP, download link is: http://www.caserun.c...play/fpbeta.exe

Some info:

- This beta is very unoptimized, I expect fps lag for some people.
- A bunch of cvars are also not yet monitored.
- FP has been recoded, this beta is to test if it will work for everyone.
- Might crash.
- No pk3s but defaults are accepted at the moment.
- You WILL get unaccepted modules, they may take a while to be accepted as we will be dealing with a massive flood of them.


Features:

- Minimize key = PAUSE/BREAK
- Check list = SHIFT + PAUSE/BREAK
- @fp still works with a 1 minute limit
- Take fairshots with console command \fp_getfs <guid> (has a 3 minute limit, needs a community vote though)

Can play like 20 sec in a server then it crashed and said unaccepted modules found, please try again later
oh and didnt seem to have fps lag

Worked immediatly here, nice going Jaron & Ross ..
Functions are working good (time delay works for @fp and @fs_get !), but if you do @fp it says 'unknown' at the end.
Just saying (but I think you knew this already).

Oh and can I bind this SHIFT + PAUSE BREAK for the list in console on another bind or is that not possible anymore?

Why make new?

There were other reasons to update the code, now we can update a lot of stuff without actually updating the client's fairplay.exe

Also, we fixed some other methods to inject hacks.

The "unknown" part is because the website we used to get ip2location was offline when we were making the beta so we just replaced the country with unkown. The full version will show country, and when the website is down it will show "demobase.eu" again.


In the beta you cannot bind the minimize or check keys, but if enough people want it back then I'm sure Jaron will put it back in.

Everyone seems to get the same guids. This will be fixed in the full version when it is released.

nope, its definitely that people are retarded. if they were too lazy to read they would never be able to register in db in the first place, open(find) this topic, download fairplay and realize they have error.
