but on the other hand people would learn from it after getting an unsent or two, like lumi said. shouldnt be much of a problem to bind it and press one damn button before the map restart.. oh well typing 3 commands doesnt take that much time either

Tbh i wouldn't be arsed to record in a "7 player mix war" either. Probably everyone just rage quit...that makes it basically pub. And we don't have rules saying one has to record in pub.

can only say wow u neva heard of ppl not being on fp? u can only assume 7 ppl in a mix means 3 ppl without fp

and i doubt u been playing mixes that long

I agree with steven and the fairplay crew, it's stupid to not record..
but on the other hands we are all just humans and everyone can forget to record sometimes,
and it's a little bit harsh to get banned and lose players like that

Because fairplay isn't as good as it has to be, we still have to record (like in the old days). Errors, Hacked, etc. Does fairplay actualy has an advantage?

1. This fairplay is better than any other previous version (else why would we update? use your brain)

2. You ALWAYS had to record, even with old fairplays, why the fuck do you think we have the demo request forum etc?

3. Of course it has an advantage, because 1/2 guy/s hacked the OLD version doesn't mean its useless + it's fixed in this version anyway.

3.2. Still most players cant hack with fairplay, and if they can they get caught -> look at busted cheatrers, 10 or so ppl who used hack on old FP got caught by @fs

3.3. No fairplay = anyone can cheat any time they want, a smart cheater will NEVER get caught by demos anyway, Fairplay will stop that cheater from being able to cheat in the first place.

4. Errors come on ALL new programs. Even programs made by microsoft, apple, ati, nvidia --- Why else do you think you need to update windows every few weeks and need new graphics drivers etc?

Also, all programs can be hacked. For example, in relation to games look at PB, VAC, Xray, Aequitas, UAC2 -- All these anticheat programs have been/are hacked, yet they are still forced for all wars in their respective games/leagues.

I think it should stay, if people don't record, then it's their own fault if they get their demo requested.
It's also not fair that some players must record and take fps lag while these noobs just play with perfect fps cuz they aint recording

I think there can be some casualties a long the way, but people should finally start recording, and let's face it's just because they don't give a fuck, since joining DB i noticed people here record after like what, few days? All leaders should msn their players and sof-friends to avoid situations like this, wars, mixwars should always be recorded.

Also if you see someone doesn't record you should ask him to start recording, the feature is good it requires 2 things
- not being a douche
- not being ignorant
don't play Jaron for the feature just try to not fall into either of this categories and you're good
