YO PEEPSZ!!

would you guys like an fp command which could auto-record for you in wars etc? so you can never just forget?



there could be a serverside cvar(example: fp_warserver 1) to identify the server as a war server and a client cvar(example: fp_autorecord 1) to say whether you want to auto-record in warservers or not.

Option 1: Always auto-record:

Server must have fp_warserver 1 and client must have fp_autorecord 1

As soon as you enter the server you will automatically start to record a demo.



Option 2: Record if over 50% are recording

Server must have fp_warserver 1 and client must have fp_autorecord 1

fairplay will record if over half the server you are in is also recording

For example:
5vs5 war, she vs amex -> assuming all 10 are on fp

all she recording, and only abu is recording from amex.

fairplay will detect 6/10 players are recording, and then automatically start demos for the other players IF they have fp_autorecord 1



Option 3:
no auto recording at all

option 1 is goign to lead into unnecessary footage imo

option 2 is for the lazy people and only works when few people already are recording

guess u have to search something between those 2

bind x "vstr record"
set record "vstr recON"
set recON "g_synchronousclients 1 ;record ;g_synchronousclients 0; set record vstr recOFF"
set recOFF "stoprecord; set record vstr recON"

and tell me if it does lag

i tried it , and it does skiping frames etc so thats fps lag.

i say when u do in the server exec war it starts the war config and u can have the command of auto record of server side else its kinda homo if it records everytime u rs
