Hey guys,

After a break of 1 year or more? I was thinking: 'damn, i wanne play sof again'
I have a macbook pro now also running a windows 7 ultimate blabla. So the best option was just installing sof on my windows part. Now, when i install sof, it runs and it crashes before i have a startscreen (SOF 2). When i used help from windows (kinda stupid but whatever) the console says couldn't load sof2mp_default.cfg.

It's been so long that i can't remember shit how to fix problems like this. Any help from u guys?

Rename sof2mp.cfg Instead of _default with it. I'm not the smartest tech pro here but i think that should do the trick. If not don't be surprised.

On demo this error happens when your assets.pk3 has been edited from the original one.
On full this happens on full when your mp.pk3 has been edited from the original one.

If a file has the wrong check-sum(if it has been edited or corrupted) then Fairplay will rename it to blabla.pk3.zzz meaning that sof2 won't load it and boom here comes the error.

The only way to fix this is to re-download the game or get a friend to send you the original unedited.
