[Syringe]

The Error looks like this;


1. I downloaded FairPlay.exe from the homesite.
2. I pasted it do SOF2 folder.
3. I double-clicked on FairPlay.exe
4. It starts;

status examining paks...

5. It stops at 94%;

error an error occured, check error.txt for details

6. I press X and close FairPlay.exe
7. I open the error.txt from step 5
8. The error.txt looks like;

System.ArgumentException: Illegal characters in path.
at System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission.HasIllegalCharacters(String[] str)
at System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission.AddPathList(FileIOPermissionAccess access, AccessControlActions control, String[] pathListOrig, Boolean checkForDuplicates, Boolean needFullPath, Boolean copyPathList)
at System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission..ctor(FileIOPermissionAccess access, String[] pathList, Boolean checkForDuplicates, Boolean needFullPath)
at System.IO.FileInfo..ctor(String fileName)
at .()

9. PROBLEM SOLVED, THANKS ALL OF YOU WHOM HELPED ME!

Conclusion; I don't know how to remove this error and/or fix it.
So, what I am asking, please help me fix this.

It's urgent.

The thing is, i'm unaware of the demo and full version, can anyone give me a quick overview of what they are?

I got it to work!

I was unaware of that i can't use ViperMod, or can you? Took it out of the folder and bam, works like a charm..

cvar r_subdivisons must be over 46 though, another error..

start sof without fairplay, type /r_subdivisions 46 in console and start sof with fp again.

and no ur not allowed to use ViperMod indeed, fairplay doesnt allow mods.

open sof2mp.cfg and ctrl+f for r_subdiv, set the value to 46. if you are full player you have to do it in every mods config (rpm, nv, etc)
