why it extract paks EVERY TIME when i start fp..?

What to do with the error: file access denied, try the game from your desktop. What do they mean with the desktop?

When I open fairplay I get the message:
"error an error occured, check error.txt for details"
But i don't get a error.txt but a file appears : sof2mp.exe, it's a ZZZ.file
If i open it i get a screen full of bs signs haha.

Help me ?

okey, i downloaded that demo.zip sof, cuz it didnt work with normal sof. so if i put fp to that folder its says make sure that the sof is in same folder, if i paste it to the same folder, then console says, "couldnt load cfg " soo what i should do ?

extract the demo.zip somewhere, copy fairplay.exe to where you extracted it to (alongside sof2mp.exe), run fairplay

What pk3's are allowed with fairplay? I know an RPMPro 4 client and Night-Therms are allowed, but what other ones? Like I want to host a home server sometimes, but my RPMPro 4 server pk3 gets disabled with fairplay. Can I get an fp compatible version or what?

On demo this error happens when your assets.pk3 has been edited from the original one.
On full this happens on full when your mp.pk3 has been edited from the original one.

If a file has the wrong check-sum(if it has been edited or corrupted) then Fairplay will rename it to blabla.pk3.zzz meaning that sof2 won't load it and boom here comes the error.

The only way to fix this is to re-download the game or get a friend to send you the original unedited.

i got this with my sof2 full, ive asked 2 mates to send me the unedited mp.pk3 file but still i get the error :S

i know i shud just redownload but it takes 2 hours n im too lazy :|

Guys, i installed SOF2demo an hour ago but i can't seem to get fairplay working. The most basic message appears: 'make sure fairplay is in your sof folder'. THe problem is that i followed all of the instructions in this topic. My sof 2 folder looks exactly like the example in the main post, all the files are exactly the same size. I also named my sof 'Sof2mp.exe'. Any ideas on what i am doing wrong?
I think it might have something to do with that i downloaded it from team alvegem site. I don't seem to have an uninstall folder, but only the 4 items shown in the example link.
