Previous clan(s)/team(s): When I was emo about Se on a random day I’ve been in -=OG=- for about 24h, besides that -in demo- I’ve been in no serious clan except for star-elite. In full the most notorious clan I’ve been in -besides se- is *#]hmC[#* When it comes to teams I’ve been in some, aim2win, .ftn and skitzo’s -R- are the ones worth mentioning.
Playing since: I’ve played sof2(full) before, but I started playing demo competitively in 2008
Well one thing he did good is that he didnt let se die even though they did have little success for such a long time and many of his players left, most leaders would have closed the clan already.
My ingame name is turQua, I was involved with account hacking, fairplay hacking, private section raping, I got a spammer of the year award and I’m the leader of the best clan ever: star-elite.
How did you come up with the name Turqua / Sultan for yourself? Is there some special history behind that?
Cola Turka is a Turkish cola brand, it's the sponsor of a Turkish soccer team too. One day I was playing soccer with the shirt of that team on and some guy asked me why the fuck I would name myself Cola Turk LMFAO. People kept calling me Cola Turk after, so I used that name for MapleStory(first year at high school). I wanted to make another account, anything with cola was taken already so I wanted to use the second part of Cola Turka, "Turka". Turka was taken too, so I made it look a bit nicer, and it ended up being turQua. When I started playing demo competitively I was using that name and I kept it. I was in a server some day, talking shit to a kid. The kid responded by telling me I act like a king. Some other random kid responded too, he said Turks can't be kings, Turks have sultans. I started using $ULTAN as nickname after.
How did you get into contact with SOF2 demo, and then later on Demobase?
My cousin used to play it, he's about 10 years older than me and he was looking for a free shooter(btw, after 7-8 years of playing he still doesn't know how to chat in game). He showed the game to Krimii(cousin too) and me. I got in touch with demobase to get support for fairplay.
How much time do you spend playing this game?
As much as possible. Lately I’m not home that often anymore, but that’ll be fixed soon. During summer I will be able to do what I love the most again.
Not at home that often? Why is that?
I’ve got kicked of my last university and the next closest university is 1.5h travelling. I also got work, friends etc. So that doesn’t leave much time for sof. When I’m at university I can access demobase and use msn but obviously not play sof, so I’m still available to support my clan, just not in game.
What are you doing when you aren't playing SOF?
Thinking about sof, getting ready to play sof, on my way home to play sof or I’m busy with something that interferes me of playing sof. Oh, and I love to play soccer, hang around with my homies and I study business economics.
What was your most embarassing moment in SOF? (Bloopers, etc.)
When I thought we were gonna roll up a teamcup with se in early 2009. We got smacked all over the map, lost our first match to .ohi 20-2 and lost the other matches by forfeit. Besides this I mainly created embarrassing moments for others since I’m the motherfucking sultan himself.
Interesting, you embarrassing others. How? What did you do?
An example is the tracks I released of toxic(http://www.demobase....showtopic=16328 / http://www.demobase....howtopic=16415). Except for that I’m involved in pretty much every huge flame war going on on demobase. Im doing my best to keep the entertainment level up on demobase.
Do you have to put down a lot of offers or does no one even ask you to join their clans?
The only reason I'm in a decent clan like Star-elite is because I'm the leader of it. Obviously, since I suck hard no one ever asks me to join their clans.
Who would you say you’re a perfect match to, skill wise, on sof?
No one, I'm the best player ever, anyone who thinks he even gets near to my skill level must be mentally challenged. My FIFA rating would be 120/6 stars.
Who would you say you can beat in a 1on1 with your eyes closed any day of the week?
Agertz, Renzo, LMO and merax
Which player on sof/db would you LOVE to destroy in a fight in real life and why?
Erasmus, cuz he thinks he's a tough guy just cuz he uses roids 24/7.
Are there some players or clans/teams you look up to (and why), or are you a regular hater hatin’ the game?
Azzy and Rocket. Both had the choice to join pretty much any clan on sof, instead of joining a top clan they decided to join a mid-skilled clan(BACK THEN) called Star-elite and more important, they stayed loyal to it. Even when we lost to random noob clans a few times in a row, even trough all the fairplay hack situation, even when we were inactive for weeks. I do not look up to anyone or any clan though. Looking up to someone is a sign of weakness, I want Star-elite to be able to at least match up with the highest skilled clans, so my mentality is set to that goal.
STAR-ELITE
He's a chill guy and many will disagree, until you get to know him. He's done "bad" things such as cheating, more in a way of proving a point a.k.a stupidness, but he's one of the guys that should be forgiven. He's a good guy and pretty smart for a turk. Not to mention he kept his clan alive for over a year already, he's a good leader.
After so many years, how does it feel to (still) be the leader of Star-Elite?
It feels good to be the leader of the best clan ever. Ever. At the moment we’re busy with building a super solid core. Ladyy and Pals have been in star-elite since the start and there are no doubts about them staying. Barre has been in star-elite for a while now too and is like a brother to me. Rocket and Azzy joined us when I needed them the most. Azzy started playing as a vip back in early 2009 already if I recall right, after that he joined star-elite when his own clan died(sK.). Rocket joined us just before the hacking drama started, and even though so many people pushed him to leave since ‘their leader is a hacker and hacks are accepted in his clan’ he remained loyal. When both joined there was a huge skill gap between the clan and themselves and yet they decided to join us. I’m proud to be the leader of star-elite, It’s an honour to play wars next to my clanmates.
You keep announcing that Star-Elite is the best clan ever. Why is, according to you, Star-Elite the best clan ever?
For some people the best clan equals the highest skilled clan. For me the best clan is the clan I enjoy playing the most with. In Star-elite a microphone and mumble is a must, that combined with retards(Rocket, Diego, Pals) a gangster(Barre) a seriousface(Azzy) and a female creature(Ladyy) makes warring with Star-elite simply EPIC. I wouldn’t trade Star-elite nor the members of Star-elite for any clan(member(s)).
Did you ever apply for some other clan or team?
Yes, I’ve had some emo moments when core players left randomly or when we kept losing wars. I’ve learned from those moments and I don’t care about certain things anymore like I used to. An example is the fins leaving star-elite, fleim toni and masi were core members, they were basically the ones keeping se active and yet I had to make the hard decision to kick them since they rather play with a mixteam than with star-elite. The first thing I did after that was not going emo but thinking about who I could recruit and how I would get star-elite active again. Me applying for other clans is something that won’t happen any soon though.
Did you ever felt like quitting with Star-Elite forever? (If so, when and why was that?)
Yes, when I thought I was too addicted to this game and was wasting too much time on it. When I quit gaming I did a lot of other stupid shit in real life, I decided I rather do stupid shit in games.
There were some dark periods in Star-Elite. Which period won't you forget?
When the North Americans, Drunkenmonkey and Azzy left to sK., they almost killed Star-elite. The one who broke my heart the most was Azzy since I he was like the best player in sof being in an average clan like star-elite. The most funny part is that later on all of these players(except for Azzy) left sK. for 3v and killed sK.
There were/are also good moments in Star-Elite, right?
Every single moment in Star-elite is a good moment. When I get home in the evening from school/playing soccer and I open my PC and I see we have 5 members online in the msn group is one of the best moments of my life in general. As clan we had no true highlights yet like winning demobase awards/cups, but that won’t take too long anymore I guess. We had awards in non-demobase cups, but those were just mid skilled, #2 Techbattles Cup and #1 Blackz Night Cup. In both cups we met ros in the finals.
Tell us the funniest moment or situation that you’ve experienced on sof since you started playing
Haha, when big bee was doing the wallmart prank call. He kept calling back and kept pushing it. I literally almost died laughing.
FP HACK
People on Demobase know you for being a big cheater, an hacker, or perhaps a kid who invented the fp hack. Some even say it wasn't you who invented it, but someone else.
What is the REAL story behind the famous fp hack? Who came up with this idea and stuff?
What most people don’t know is that the ‘turqua-hack’ was actually a c4 creature. I went to Amsterdam last year and met some of the c4 people, surprisingly xillax was there too. So I went to their place to chill and saw they were playing sof, WITH THE SO CALLED TURQUA-HACK. They were working on a cheat that would be able to work with fairplay without any suspicion. BIocking fairshots is easy, but it’s suspicious if someone fairshots a player 20 times and there is not fairshot in his list. So they had to make a hack that wouldn’t be noticeable on fairshots. They were saying some things that could ruin their complete sof career. I immediately grabbed my phone and started recording their conversations. So instead of letting that happen they gave the hack to me too. Back then it was still in progress and only wallhack was implemented. They were obviously not happy with me knowing they all had the hack and took their revenge later. They called me to a mixwar, in the warming up they asked me on ventrilo if it was working fine. I told them I didn’t have it opened yet, so I opened it, when I said it was working alright they fairshotted me. At the same time xillax got an e-mail from Ravensoft that they wouldn’t be supporting sof anymore. They were shutting down the master servers. They gave him the software so xillax could host it on his own. Xillax blackmailed me, I would either tell the rest what the true story was and he would ban me from their master server or I would shut my mouth about the project and accept the consequences. I accepted their offer and shut my mouth. They still gave a 6-month ban though, but at the moment I was happy already that I could play sof. After this I personally paid Ravensoft $5.000 to keep the servers up for a few more months. They accepted my offer and since then I’m waiting for the right moment to release my story. I realized they would be deleting it from demobase, but with the attention this interview gets they can’t go around it! JUSTICE! This also explained why Xillax left |she| for c4., even though |she| is way high skilled and more active than c4., c4. Has the people who have been working with Xillax on the project, Xillax decided he rather plays with hackers than against them so he joined them.
So the punishment was... you got banned right?
Yes, I got banned for 30 months total.
You can't play any cupwars for 30 months. Are you regretting the fact that you hacked?
No, I didn’t actually hardcore hack in clanwars so there is nothing to regret. Even though some people claim I did, there is not even the slightest proof that I’ve hacked in over 5 clanwars.
Aren’t you kind of frustrated that you won’t be able to play in cupwars for 30 months? Because that doesn’t only let yourself down but also your clan of course.
It doesn't matter for me personally, I don't care that much about cups, it's not like I couldn't sleep for weeks. But of course it's frustrating when my members do all the effort of arranging a cupwar and it turns out the fifth doesn't show up and I'm there but I can't support them. If Star-elite decides to not to play in cups in future due this, it would not only be a loss for us, it would be a loss for sof2demo in general.
The story about the hack and all. Aren’t you afraid of getting banned for a longer period now?
No.
What can we expect (realistically) from you and Star-Elite in the future?
You can expect us to end up in the top 4 regularly. I bragg a lot about it, but honestly, we do realize that we aren't be the highest skilled clan ever, and we won't be any soon neither. But by maintaining stability in the memberlist and recruiting players who are better than at least the half of the clan we should be able to get to the semis often.
Would you like to make any more statements towards Demobase? Any advice or commandments you want to share with your fellow sof2 players?
Everyone who plays this game in his spare time for fun. When someone blocks your nade or sucks dick in a clanwar or whatever it's not like he's sabotaging you in favor of the opponent. Don't whine at your clanmates, they are humans too.
