that's obvious steven and everybody agrees with that
what we don't agree about that demo+gold+full can be merged into 1 community playing on some comprise based rules
imo it would only make sense if 90% all demo players would move to full, ON OUR RULES
the loss of these few indivduals could be fixed by full players who would be in 1st clans...
you could do then 1st and 3rd clans, instead of CTF and INF clans... and each player could have one 1st clan and one 3rd clan.

GUYS, do the things like this...
Make DEMO, 1.0 & GOLD inside 1.0 ??
Demo players will play in their servers, 1.0 in their servers and gold in their servers... if don't like each rules...
Guys, all depends the servers...
If 1 guy don't like nades.. go to a server without it..
Make the game with several rules like all games nowadays..

I dont know the activity at demo but it feels like its kinda active, not maybe public but wars and cups.
Full is active.
Gold is dieing.
Based on this its golds choice if they wanna quit the game, continue play on either v1.0 or demo.
Demo has to much pride to just quit their game they played for so long and come to v1.0 with 3rd and other rules i understand it myself. But it would look retarded if people quit both full and gold to play the demo verision of the game.

Demo + ctfupdate (~500mb) is actually closer to gold than 1.00 imo.
I think trying to resurrect gold by going back to 1.00 is just retarded.
The reason gold was made was because the game needed a fucking patch.
Just face it. The days of gold, or sof2 for that matter, being on CB are over. Was fun while it lasted.

@kiki, demo and 1.00 are active, perhaps not as active as gold at its prime, but still. gold is totally dead afaik.
I have no problem playing against benchhuggers, even more when we actually play with proper settings (dmflags 0; speed 280; nades on etc) it will be much more even and 3rders simply can't hug one bench for 3 minutes and wait for you cause they are forced to move..unless they wanna die ofc.
also 1.00 has far smoother gameplay than demo, reg is better and it feels smoother and imo plays better on older pcs than demo does. that's a + for 1.00
few months ago we would say that not bein able to view ur demos in 1.00 was a huge flaw - also that's fixed now
if i were to play 1.00 active instead of demo i'd want proper 5o5 wars instead of 4, atleast for INF. nades enabled and falldamage on.

Full players wouldn't want any of those settings anyway, cus they're not used to them.
So why the fuck should we all move to full? It makes no sense.
Gold and demo players are used to basically the same rules, while full players live in their own world.
Why on earth should demo and gold players switch to full then?
Might as well go all gold/demo.
Fact is gold is a patched version of full, hence it's better.
