Wow man, I'm so excited to see if Real wins something this year. If they won't, Mourinho will have dozens of excuses ready, I guess.

Barca winning or not winning this season doesn't matter though (in terms of consequences). They've won so much the last couple of years, that if they won't win anything this season, nothing will happen. They have shown so many people how real football and joy should look like.

Yes, two PROPER chances that were both finished by an absolutely phenomenal player called Lionel Messi (about all other players wouldve missed these chances). And tbh, Barca only makes these kindof combinations when up 2-0ish.

about 50% or more of barcas goals is created by Messi being one of the most godlike footballplayers of alltime. Not because of barcas 'amazing' combinations, no, its messi setting up attacks and getting the ball back when he ticks it around..

Mourinho proved that Barca is easily hurt by a defensive strategy twice in a week now, my guess is that real will go to the finals of the cl this year

This result isn't shocking though, in football you can't win everything. I'm not taking any words back either. Barca should play like they are playing. I find it beautiful, others may have their own opinion.

If Di Stefano criticises his own club (1-1) for being a mice and Barca a tiger, it says enough. And that's exactly how I feel too. These men know more than us and their opinion are based on so many things. Many things we don't even know about.

And about the one touch stuff and holding the ball... man, if opponents has 9 defenders in their box, it isn't easy to crack it open! Counter-attack football is far more easier and Real has very fast players in the front, so yeah, with the playstyle of Barca, there are some risks too! Real just have to wait, get the ball by a mistake of Barca and let Ronaldo sprint... bam chance / bam goal!

Those 2 tackles (1 against Messi, 1 against Villa) were 2 red cards. There was also 1 nasty tackle on Adriano. It makes me think that Mourinho wanted to play Barca out on physique level. But no, we're not gonna cry about it like Mourinho. Gotta move on!

Still happy with Barca man. It's a pleasure watching such football. It reminds me of Ajax back in the good days. Incredible.

Pussy play? wow that's a statement. Like steven said before it's not dominating football if you pass the ball around the midfield for 90 minutes and when you try to get it in the box you usually fail miserably and lose the ball. Even some finnish teams could pass the ball around the midfield for the whole game and lose it 0-1 and say "we should of won, we clearly had the ball more. look at the posession!!!!" barcelona is the pussy playing team here passing the ball around on their own side not even trying to attack. Atleast when real get's the ball they try to score unlike barcelona. Don't be hater's on real cos they won barca now with "pussy football" or whatever you call it Barcelona's tactic is to hold the ball, Real's tactic is to score. Just get over it, Real was better in 1st half Barca in 2nd half, could of gone either way. "man, if opponents has 9 defenders in their box, it isn't easy to crack it open!" That's a corner kick, in the rest of the game i highly doubt that wasn't the case except in the last 5 minutes. Only thing barca player's do after every whistle is cry, Iniesta mostly wich is funny cos hes one of the most pathetic diver's in La Liga.

Barca played exactly like this against Real and won 5-0, so you can't blame their playing style. This time they lost 1-0. Well, things happen... most of the times Barca's playstyle works like a charm, this time they had a very good opponent. Same goes for Real.

I've always said that Barca is ridiculously vulnerable at back end which was proved once again. They also look lost out there on the field when they really have to score that important goal to draw/win the game. I mean, they didn't even come close to drawing the match yesterday. Another prime example is UCL semi final second leg against Internazionale last year. If the opponent is able to defend very tightly, Barca just can't get that fancy short passing game rolling effectively which is really the only style they ever use. Seems like Guardiola isn't able to change the tactic if it just isn't working. Barca is just so used to playing that fancy short passing game against weaker opponents and they always win those matches rather comfortably. They always use the same game style, no matter the opponent. Just pass, pass, pass... Top managers know this and create a tactic to stop it. Barcelona's full backs (especially Dani Alves) are getting forward all the time which gives opportunities to counter attack effectively. Mourinho did this with Inter already and now again with Real. In my opinion, Barca is still favourite to go to UCL Final, but this result proved that Real is no slouch either.

ps. Before haters start hating, I have to say that I respect the skill level of Barca's players & when they are on their game, they are virtually unstoppable. However, at least Mourinho has figured out how to get Barca's game off the tracks. UCL semis will certainly be interesting, hopefully Real will still be able to perform without suspended Carvalho in the first leg.
