The game you so preciously call "full", can be seen as a failed beta version of the real 1.03 gold patch. The reason you are playing 1.00 instead of 1.03 is because 1.03 was like a good game should be; competative, exciting and more grown-up. Full people are the complete opposite to that. Never have I met such a dull sad bunch of people in a game like in 1.00. The full player can generally be described as boring, dumb/immature person and completely lacks sportsmanship.
Why demo is better
First of all, we all play on the same conditions, i.e. we play exclusively with first-person view. A game where there is generally accepted to play with mixed third-person viewers and first-person views cannot be taken seriously. Ever since demoplayers started playing demo, we found that the game was already perfect in a kind of minimalistic way. There's one very good map (and ofc all good gold maps), no annoying overmodded sound-effects interfaces or colored names. Perfect for a fair fun competative gaming-scene. This has lead to a lot of brilliant gamers have developed throughout the years in demo, both when it comes to tactical thinking and aimwise. A good demoplayer is kind of proof, that he can do amazingly well in any other game in my opinion.
Who plays full?
A full-player is very easy to spot, by his incoherent lazy posts which mostly don't contribute to the discussion at all. He is generally a white male 27-35, northern european. Because of the hilarious sound effects, mods, colored names and because it's a place where it's accepted to be an online-douche he prefers 1.00 over any other game.
I would rank the full players on the bottom of my gaming-hierarchy list. (Note that I find demo- and goldplayers very closely related. When gold was still active, there was a very small step to become a good gold player)

What full does to Demobase
(The list can be expanded by a lot of points, but I found these the most important)
- Increases the avarage age
- Lower the avarage iq
- Lower the avarage penis length
- Over half of these inflatable doll-fucker's posts consist of stupid unrelated pictures/memegenerations with completely unrelated punchlines aswell
- Makes stupid topics
Ever since Demobase was introduced to full, with a goal to make it more active, you have been the annoying minority here and the phrase "full nab" is now a common expression. So post your "u mad", "stfu n00b" memes now to prove my point even more.
