Keep in mind though, that there are many more factors, right now this moment. Wich play a role in the future of the world. Though this might be the biggest 'danger'.

To bad Jeremy didnt include the money hunger motherfuckers ruling the planet right now. Aside from the Illuminati theory's and such, you're only a fool if you still deny greed, wich is the biggest motivation to become wealthy to begin with, so wealthy self-made people, usually are evil cunts, i like. I think this is the second, threat. Because they hold all of the worlds recources, and want to get the most out of it.

However, I don't think nuclear energy should be abolished right now.
It's cheap! Existing and future nuclear waste can be reduced through waste recycling and reprocessing.

Although I support renewable energy. Cons? Extremely expensive.

What Rafael said is true, renewable energy sources ARE the future, theres no doubt about it, but they're not profitable as of now so theres not that much interest in it, and the companies are trying their best to keep research to a minimum. Solar energy and such also take too much space and aren't efficient enough as of now. However, there could be other solutions to temporarily solve our energy problems without the use of nuclear energy and as little energy from coles as possible. But they've not been developed for major use now.

Too bad money is such a big issue, since oil and coles are still very cheap and profitable, as opposed to renewable sources which aren't. And with some new techniques (Enhance Oil Recovery and such)we can last way longer with the amount of oil and coles we have left.

coal is cheapest and technology is available to anyone so most countries run on coal
most of the time most economic solution prevails, sometimes decisions are driven by other factors social(keep job for miners in Poland), military(nuclear plants in France) or policy(reduce co2 emissions or energy self-efficiency) that's how it is imo.
Ofc simplified and without lobbyists etc taken into the account and other factors.
