Max, if you look at skul's screenshots you can see on the radar and lagometer that the overbrightbits cmd did work but somehow made all his game go black. In the ss you gave, it has nothing to do with the cmd which made skul's game go black.
Well it looks similar, which is all I was implying.

Yeah it is similar, and I can't tell how it happened to this guy. 1 thing for sure; no1 would want his game to look like this intentionally as its completely fucked up, you don't see anything in the map. everything apart some objects is covered with black.

Well are you up to play like that? Not able to see anything around you , for example boxes to hide yourself behind. And can't see anywhere you're about to go , can't know what you're stuck in etc. The list is endless.

I was also present at this particular event. sKul tried r_overbrightBits as he claims he did, and his screen turned out to be black. With other words, it's a bug not a hack. Topic locked & moved to cleared players.
