Monkey music is not only about pitch and rhythm you know.... in Electronic music producers try to produce a certain sound, sounds you won't be able to make with regular instruments. I guess that's the big difference between 'musicians' and 'producers'... Some people are focused on what the instruments are playing, some people focus on the vibe of a song... the mood it's giving them, some focus on lyrics. It's about appreciating what's good about a song. Now I am not a huge dubstep fan, but the things that could strike me are the bass that will hit my chest and the general energy of a song. But I agree it can be a bit wacky at times, but it's a very minimalistic genre.

Some people dislike jazz, some dislike classical... it's usually because they can't relate to what is the good thing for them in a song. Lack of exposure to certain genres is usually the reason for this.... How can you like something you haven't heard enough. Discovery isn't always random and spontaneous, it might take some training and effort.

making a dubstep is just basicly fucking up the original song or instrumental with random computer sounds and bits.
after mixing good music with shit sounds and bits it becomes a mess which is called dubstep.

Dubstep isn't all remixes nor is it all 'random sounds messed into a song'. Maybe you should actually LISTEN to DUBSTEP (Not Skrillex, Borgore or any other producer that tends to be like them :>) that isn't about building up and dropping 3 times in a song and put as much bass into it as possible.

Thread hijacking: Monkey what instruments do you play ?

I played synthizator in a band
I also can play guitar (not a beast on it, but I can play alot of metal songs on it... one of the coolest songs I trained is called The Metal and I can play it from beginning to the end)

I played piano since 6 years old and I'm 19 now... on guitar I just trained my favorite metal songs sometimes.

I can't stand most of the hip-hop, dubstep, rap or black metal. Those shits are just terrible, still alot of people listens to that crap (mostly people who dont understand anything about music).

If you wouldn't have put the 'mostly people who don't understand anything about music' part i would've sympathized with you... but playing in a band or playing an instrument doesn't mean you know something about music nor is it the other way around. Saying you don't like most dubstep while also stating 'making a dubstep is just basicly fucking up the original song or instrumental with random computer sounds and bits.' basically shows me you haven't given it any chance after hearing...... a tiny bit of the popstep people listen too.

Please, don't bitch on genres saying 'i'm a musician' if you haven't given it a proper listen-too...
