Q: Will the league be first person only?
A: Yes.
Q: How do I get maps working on demo?
A: Check THIS topic.
Q: What's INF CO?
A: INF CO is an abbreviation for Infiltration, Charges Only, which means that only "charges" (rounds you've won on the BLUE side) count. It's the commonly used as the opposite of ARC (all rounds count) where every point you win, be it red or blue side, counts. What you need to know is that whilst playing CO time is an important factor as there's no teamlimit set (rcon teamlimit 0) but the rounds end according to minutes played. This usually means that the defending side (red team) try to "waste time" and delay the blue team before killing them and blue team focuses on rushing and getting the briefcase to the extraction point as fast as possible.
Q: What does LR stand for?
A: LR stands for last round. Prior to a match or a cup people usually agree on whether LR is allowed or not. For example, when the time limit for a CO match is 15 minutes the offensive side (blue team) will get to play a last round if they spawn 14.55 or before that (meaning that that side will end when the blue team finishes their last round). If it is agreed that last round isn't enabled the side is finished by default when the timer hits 15 minutes.
Q: Will LR be enabled for this league?
A: Yes.
Q: How will the winner be determined?
A: When the season starts each team/clan is given the task to war all other teams/clans once (if the total amount of registered clans is X then every clan has to play <x-1> matches). When this "group" phase is finishes top 4 clans will pass on to play-offs (A1 vs A4, A2 vs A3).
Q: How will the top 4 be picked?
A: Each victory in-season gives you 3 points, each draw 1 point and a loss gives you nothing. The top 4 will be the teams/clans with most points.
Q: How long do INF CO 5on5 matches usually take?
A: Considering there's 2 maps to play and 2 sides on each map the default time would be 60 minutes. But taking into consideration last rounds and small breaks/technical issues wars can take up to 70-80 minutes.
Q: Are the maps we have to play going to be assigned or will each team get to pick theirs?
A: In-season each team will pick their map. There is a catch here though, as teams are only allowed to pick a certain map twice during the season. For example if you've picked mp_hk1 as your map in 2 matches you won't be allowed to pick it again. This only applies to YOUR pick, it doesn't count if you've played that map as your opponent's pick. Play-offs will probably have assigned maps.
Q: Do we have to play 5on5?
A: 5on5 is preferred, although if some clans are having difficulties getting their in-season matches played otherwise 4on4 is also allowed as an exception (if the cup staff and the other team agree with it). This is all I could come up with so far, suggestions/feedback is appreciated.
