Personally I haven't been in a team for a long time I don't think we need teams that much at all. However I feel disbanding them may hurt overall activity a bit, but still players will put more focus for clans to stay active.
I'd pick option no3 so if a map player joins a clan like |SHE| he can sign up with some other team for a map cup and clans like cC. or c4. would work as hybrids; being 'just clans' in both gamemodes. What you guys think?

clans made by ultra baddies will still keep dying
2 week clans by the same people will still be around and were way long before teams were introduced
no new clans will come out of this because most of people are in clans already
zioni and angel will still hop
drfunk will develop astmha if he doesnt already

besides option 3 doesnt make much sense unless its different GAMETYPE clans(ctf vs inf, etc) not like yo dawg in mp_shop i play for c4 but jor1 i play for she and oh dear lord if i ever have to play kam5 i call my cC buddies

I think that demobase shouldn't have any team cups, but only clan cups. That way more people will want to be in clans. Simple

lol 'own clan tactics' can be made now cause most clans have 90% same core throughout years anyways
this concept only works in other games where there is difference between cw and pcw
most people dont want to experiment with diff tacs cause all the wars have same value and noone wants to lose. this would require league system of kind to work properly but we tried this like 10 times already, no?

I think teams should be more like -aMeX-. Instead of taking the shit seriously, we fool around and rush with m60 and recruit alper's into amex just so we can have stupid wars when our clans are inactive. Clans are the serious gameplay for competitive nature, I believe. I think that demobase shouldn't have any team cups, but only clan cups. That way more people will want to be in clans. Simple
