cC won the knife round and wanted to start the first round on the red side.
zD started this cupwar with alot of good intentions and they pressured the caseroom really good which resulted in a 3-0 score. Especially Evant did good with a impressive 9/0 score in 3 rounds. Then cC started to use roof more often (roofrushes, fallbacks to roof) in a atempt to counter the game play of zD. This worked with success and after some rounds the score was tied again at 4-4. Then zD hitted another time the gas pedal this time with Laatje at the cannon, winning round after round. When the score was 9-6 in favour for zD only 2 guys were alive: Priest from cC in east bunker and Synx from zD at office. The one on one took more than 1 minute but Priest outplayed Synx with a smart move. cC played wanted to take more points and did that with better teamwork and nice fast game play. At a score of 9-9 Evant made the final kill for and zD won the first round of a great cupwar.
cC started furious at the second round with Priest sniping east from west and great rushes in main from Blue and Phil. Priest switched his sniper with a ak the next round but the east players of zD were still afraid of his sniper and didn't rush main anymore. cC won round after round with an impressive Priest at main and was leading 6-0 after only 5 min. zD took one point back but they were really overrulled at conf and never could make a stand on the red side. cC won the second round pretty easily with a nice 10-1.
Player of the Match
After the first round three players were still in the running to be the POTM: Laatje, HowlinMad and Priest. But Priest really impressed me in the second round with his clever gameplay (he won 2 or 3 times a 1vs1, every time with smart game play) and nice rushes into conf. That's why the Player of the match is Priest.
