2 things, my fp has never worked shifty has tried to help me fix it but to no avail, uhh it says sof2mp.exe has stopped working, ive run it in admin, and compatibility windows service packs 2 and 3, sof2 folder is on desktop, idk what the fuck else to do

NUMBER 2! some weird ass error wont let me join any servers, i was in dinks tdm, and....i tried to reconnect cause i had kb and when it was about to reconnect i got this message

"Loading vm file sof2mp_ui complied to 692049 bytes of code
sof2mp_ui loaded in 5241536 bytes on the hunk
UI total menu load time = 490ms
DROPPED"

What pk3 files do you have in the folder 'demo'?
Name them all, even if it's a very big list.
It could be you don't have the 'red' patch which is required to run specific pk3 files.
Although you should be able to run fairplay since it blocks the most pk3 files, so I don't think this is the problem.

Your exe is exactly named sof2mp.exe?
No other characters?

Also did you download the correct drivers?
Post your Graphics card name and type as well your Operation System, it might be useful as well.

As the last sentence reflects, it says it takes 490ms to load the menu.
I don't know what the normal value is, I can't imagine this will drop you out of sof lol.
Maybe you got a corrupt file or something.
Anyway post the pk3 file list you contain in the folder 'demo'.

Try naming your .exe file to "sof2mp".
