A gun and grenade attack in the centre of the Belgian city of Liege has killed at least six people and wounded about 120, 7 highly injured including a toddler, media say.

Witnesses say a man in his 40s threw grenades at a bus stop in Place Saint Lambert, a busy square. At least one other man is thought to be involved.

Reports say one of the attackers is among the dead.

Local media said one man had been seized by police, while another took refuge in the nearby Palace of Justice.

Medical staff are said to be attending to the injured in the courthouse. Doctors at a city hospital are trying to save the life of an 18-month-old boy injured in the attack.

Roads into the centre of the city have been sealed off. Explosives experts are on their way to the square.

Yeah, this is uncomfired but media says it has something to do with a case running about a honor murder here in Belgium, very vague.


I wonder what the real statistics will be like, they threw grenades and started shooting at a very busy place, currently only 2 people died but I'm sure it'll run up to atleast 10 people..

They are just guys that deal in drugs and guns that got convicted and tried to escape (is what i heard)

Very true, this is why these guys feel like rambo now throwing grenades at innocent people.. Belgium is too fucking soft, murder someone and you could get free within 10 years, unless you're Belgian of course without evidence; this would give you a life sentence (Els Clottemans, Leopold Storme)


edit: 4 deaths now but I'm expecting like atleast 10 judging on the location they attacked

Small update, the culpit's name is Nordine Amrani, a 32 years old gangster with a violent past in drugs and weapons, which for he got a 5 years sentence but recently got a trial out of jail.


The scene where all of this happened was a christmas market, very crowded place, where he started to throw grenades and shoot around him with a kalashnikov, after this lame attack he shot himself throught the head.

There are currently only 4 deaths (including Nordine Amrani) which is quite amazing imo, 75 wounded and about 10 heavily wounded, 5 of them are having an operation and are at intensive care.

the guy went to prison in 2008 for having 9500 weapon parts, a dozen complete automatic weapon and 2800(!!!) cannabis plants. its nothing u grow in ur basement

I only said he was from Morrocan origine and it did not surprise me at all because we got these gangsters escaping from prison 24/7 like luminaire said, if you don't know shit you should just shut ur mouth
