or atleast most of them don't. usually I have to go through process of adding-deleting-readding the person while they are doing something similar with my email(its a week old by now)
I use Trillian 5.1 but I don't think thats the issue - i logged in hotmail.com and tried adding there, even tested it with 2 of my emails adding eachother and I appear offline to myself even when multilogged. any idea? google suggests hotmail server issues but its been going on for week. cba to contact hotmail support because they are fucking retarded

before this, on previous msn: add someone -> they get invite -> they press accept(and they appear online) or decline(offline for me) - end.
and it doesnt even work always when we both add eachother at same time, gotta redo it like 10 times

its the new msn live shit microsoft have added, i know that before the invite appear and you had to accept but now both have to add each others, since you got problem let the person adding you add you first then you him

adding people on another old account works 500% perfect

they updated msn ages ago, despite that I sticked with old messenger and invites worked. always. its not like they recently updated it.

what? I've already tried what you said. have person add me first, then add him myself - we both appear offline eachother(and no invites, too)
just tested it with fleims old msn - he instantly got my invite, but when i added his current msn we went through 5min of raping add/delete button before magic started happening. ohyeah, before anyone says it takes time to show person online - not week

Stop talking about "both needs to add eachother" shit. It's some kind of bug by WLive. I also have it with an older account when I use new WLive software. You'll add him. Nothing happens. He adds You, nothing happens. I can't add anyone atm with that account.
