lost 250 when i got dealt aces, 2x they flopped a set, 3rd time he flopped a set, i make flush on turn, board pairs on river... :@
dealt kings twice, run into aces twice

what would u have done then if u don mind telling me acer ? don come up with smth like u had checked. if u look up the odds of someone having a 10 when there are 3 on the flop. its pretty slim and why would u give someone free cards. when he called my preflop raise of 40, then he must obviously have smth somewhat playable ( normally ) and i was out of position and there was a 3rd guy also playing who called preflop meaning the pot was around 120 alreadyso i figured if id get em both to fold, id already be happy.

The odds, if he had nothing you would have won the pot anyway by fold ore by raise on the last card who cares $$$, the odds lol
And when he had a shit hand he would have fold.
No real reason to raise.. If you ask me, but yea I don't play online poker.
(Don't know the part about to play with ''fishies'' ore how its called but pot of 400 euro i don't suspect to many ''fishies'').

wasnt online poker first of all. was in casino Holland on leidseplein in amsterdam. and well the pot was around 800 and the place was full of fishes who play 69 off or k5 off or smth. and imagine if i check on the flop and a J falls and the guy has JJ, then im screwed anyway so giving free cards doesnt make sense but what do i know i guess

you seem to forget poker is all about getting max value for ur good hands, by c-betting here ur making him pay to see the turn and river with hands like AJ/AQ/AK and medium pairs, just because the guy hits the jackpot with quads on the flop doesnt make it a bad play lolOfc I Would have checked.

Weird shit, what were the blinds kaspar? 2/4?
Anyway I rather slowplay my aces in live poker than just raising 10x BB before the flop and try to get someone re-raising me.
