The Groups



So this cup starts with a little delay due to some registration problems but that's all solved now. The first phase of this cup is the group phase where every clans plays the other clans in the group one time.

I'm applying a Best of 3 system to figure out on what map you will have to play. There are 3 maps available to play on (the maps are listed below) and each clan can vote 1 map away that they don't wanna play on, the remaining 3rd map will be the map that will be played on. The TOP 3 of every group goes on, the clans that finish on the 4th and 5th place are knocked out unfortunately. If you win a cupmatch you will get 3 points, if you draw 1 point, if you lose 0 points (just like in football).

Please note that if 2 clans have the same amount of points then the clan with the best ratio (points won/points lost) will go on so it's your benefit to win your cupmatches with as much points if you can, you may need them in the end. If your arranging a date and time for a cupmatch please contact the admins also so you don't have to find one 5 minutes for the match (which happens alot). Also note that every cupmatch starts with a knife round on a spot agreed by both clans and the clan that wins that kniferound can pick a side to start the cupmatch.

Clans who have players playing without fp will lose that match with forfeit numbers (20-0) no matter what the reason is, NO FP = NO CUPMATCH!

The cup starts today (Friday 4 May 2012), and all matches have to be played before monday 4 June 2012!
(meaning you have to played all your matches before this date else I'll start throwing with forfeits which nobody wants here I think)

I didn't make the groups myself of course since I'm also playing in this cup. I used a program called The Hat to shuffle the teams and put in a random order:

You have four opponents in each in group so you will have to play the best of 3 four times to see what map you are going to play on against each opponent

Probably, still would have liked 2 maps to be played per match and also be able to vote away maps. Take 5 maps. Both vote one away, then both can pick the map they want to play(out of the remaining 3). Now it's a bit limited, I miss kam4, kam3 to say the least.

Not trying to stir shit, but it would have been a bit more varied.

I guess the chance of subway being voted away by at least one team is quite HIGH. that only leaves 2 maps per maps...... so its either 50/50 jor1/shop2 every match imo.... the chance of both clans not voting away subway might be existent but is very small...... With a map like kam3 there is a higher probability of it actually being played. Now this is all said a priori, but imo the probabilities will be like this.

maybe you can try to play on subway instead of being a little bitch like you always are, it's a great map that has been used in several cups on gold
