I know RPM v2.00 is "final" version but I would like to share my new idea, imo it should be included in next version of rpm or at least be add-on or something...

So.. Sof2 v1.00 is already dying and about 30% of "players" on v1.00 are really bots and that's annoying, coz there are some servers that have 15 bots and they appear on top of my serverlist even though there is no ppl, only bots (ping 0).

I thought it would be awesome to add an option to RPM in serverlist (near to Empty:, Full:) which would be like "Bots: no/yes". And it would scan servers to detect where there is no ppl (actually it would count player with ping 0 as a bot) and hide them. If there are 10 bots and 1 player it shouldn't be hided IMO because there are some servers that are still playable. Serverlist would be much more clear and it would be easier to find server for scrim or having fun (bots are not fun at all). I was playing on gold version for like 3 weeks and it was horrible, I didn't count it but there was like 70% of bots.. I was like WTF, why do ppl play gold o.O

I really hope it happens in future because I think it makes sof2 even more inactive.

You'd have to send getstatus packets instead of getinfo packets (much like search friend), and then assume that players with 0 ping are indeed bots. It's certainly possible, but I don't think it's worth the effort.

I think most players know which servers have bots and avoid them. Also, you can manually request the server status before joining a server, to check for bots.

max: yeah most of players know which servers have bots but we dont want to see them on our lists.
im always checking who is at the servers before i join it and it would be faster and more comfortable if i avoid these botted
