I do think who-ever edited that IPSS deserved an unsent and obviously if you were not sending in your record, you deserved one as well. The rest on the IPSS shouldn't have been given an unsent, that was overreacting on the admins part there imo. I still don't see how these two topics relate in any way though.

You seem to be missing the point. Perhaps it is possible to also send your record after you have some "harmless fun" (just like you did)?
The two "troll jokes" are rather similar, aren't they? Both rely on manipulating other peoples' emotions. Yet one was punished, the other wasn't.

u edited an ip ss so u wouldnt have to send the requested demo. thats something u should have got banned for, no doubt. and thats twice as lame as using a file allowed by fp that does nothing but changes few little things on ur hud LOL

What these guys did is much different. They did something that gives no advantage at all. It made sof look different, just like a AK skin, or something of that nature would do.

The difference is you were trying to avoid getting an unsent by removing yourself from the IPSS, I didn't actually hack or cheat and by Demobase rules I cannot be punished since it was an allowed pk3 file.
