But yea i played years a long side with high pingers (abu prime fox radical forgy defqon prime and even zio gets 100 ping sometimes) and i have yet to see this disadvantage your talking about. you always play with a steady high ping, its not a laggy high ping.
The only thing that could happen is when you both kill eachother at the same time, and that is pretty rare. a lower ping might help but with the bullet reg demo has i doubt it makes any real difference ;/ you could try this out and see if it's actually true ;

well i imagine since high pingers hits are delayed by the time you actually take damage from their shot and are "stunned" they would have finished the recoil while you as a low pinger hit and stun people as soon as you shoot them

not something ive actually focused on just guessing :S

I played alongside shifty with 350 ping and he sometimes had a positive score so clearly ping must mean nothing right? All those players that you named would be so much better if they played with a low ping, me fox and yoshi aim just as well as reflex, ambush, zippa.

But katana you clearly don't understand how ping works, you think it's just a delay and if I click on you it'll hit just a second later, but think of it in slow motion like the game takes a screenshot of where my xhair is whenever I click, and then 150ms later after you're body has moved 2 feet to the left my bullet hits where his head was, but he already moved so I miss. You guys are all playing in real time, and I'm shooting at shadows that aren't there anymore, I have to predict where he might move and shoot ahead of him, prefiring and leading ALL the time.

So essentially, I have to miss on my screen in order to hit, unless your standing still, so "a lower ping might help but with the bullet reg demo has I doubt it makes any real difference" was the most ignorant statement I've ever seen about this game

Junior and balo tried to talk shit about my sniper before we played c4 today, but they combined for a score of 3/25 (congrats on joining the 0 club junior). You can say that I only had 6 kills and wasn't the reason we won 10-2 on blue (won red 10-3) but I played my part. I threw your whole team off it's game, shut down east and roof since not a single person got past me at either position, even when you'd try to smoke. Deny it all you want, say I had a small amount of damage, but the psychological damage I did to your team doesn't show up on the scoreboard when you hit tab

ive said this before but ill repeat myself, this is an euro community and instead of whining about ur ping u should be happy the q3 netcode gives u a chance to play with and against euros. there are no other 'competitive' games where euros could play americans online.

My ignorant statement was ment for the simultanious kill with a high vs low ping only which are rare. i have no idea who would get the point but usually red gets it regardless the ping (try it out and bust this myth) We all know high pingers have to prefire a little, its something you get used to if you play a lot with it, you and many others been playing with it for years, so did I in tdm ntg back in the day. The skill increase would be less then 10% imo and thats only because like you said your not prefiring, your aim gameplay and skill wont change by having a lower ping.

@fleim i used to play with 150 ping all the time in ntg, the only difference i saw and had to make was change how i aim, nothing else.

Exe, if all is true what you said about the ping and that you are indeed among the best players. Why do you keep going on about this...? If no one will ever believe your claims about your aim being good if you just had a low ping, what are you gonna do?

I have MORE respect for people who KEEP ON PLAYING regardless of bad circumstances(e.g. a high ping) and they try to still be the best. They all do this while KEEPING THEIR MOUTH SHUT except for uttering a 'gg' and being cool and not a prick in general.


I feel that persons that hopelessly attempt to persuade people and trying to prove a point is LAME. Just ACCEPT not everybody thinks you are the best and maybe people will change their minds because you prove them otherwise

You partly remind me of people in a bad situation in life who only blame their parents and environment but never take actions themselves to do a fuck about it. But I can play with 10-30 (with cl_maxpackets lower, not sure if it this cmd) but i got it on 100, so my ping is stable 50-48, wat is better and why?

100+/200max ping is different, in a way that movement shocks to keep up with the rytthm of the game with lowpingers. As ex-euro player I raped the ntg servers with scores like 40/1 back in the day and got banned multiple times wich were troublesome topics on the ntg forums to get unbanned. A higher ping can be very sweet to play with if you know how to handle it. Using it as a excuse is lame. I actually played better with a 100+ ping. I actually changed my maxpackets to play with a 90-100 ping meanwhile without my ping was 19-28. As a sniper however it is more difficult, i give you that exe. You might be a good sniper but im sure Achilles would rape you close to 20-0 on elim.

Malign keeping your mouth shut gets you nowhere in this community.

If you seriously changed your maxpackets so you could get a higher ping you're either mentally "challanged" or your aim sucks so bad you need to spray and hopes he walks into it, because you are incapable of actually putting your crosshair on the enemy and tap shooting.

And you're completely wrong, ping affects an AK more because all I need is one sniper bullet, and I have a scope so I pick more precisely where I lead the target. However, in elim sniping the speed is something stupid like 400, so if I shoot on his body he's moving so fast that by the time my bullet travels to where he was when I had my xhair on him and clicked, he has already moved and I miss. Plus part of elim sniping is dodging, by ducking and leaning. Think of it like how when someone shoots at a moving deer that's 5 meters away, the bullet hits where the scope is aimed and almost instantly. However when the distance is 1000 meters (1/1300th distance between USA and NL) then you have to adjust and guess where the target will move because it takes so long for the bullet to get there.

Even with him having a huge ping advantage, I've still played achilles many times and always been even with him on elim. However, he can't do the things that I do in INF wars, otherwise why has c4 or cC or some good clan never wanted him. Also, if he's so much better than me then why was I training HIM on how to snipe in wars?

Don't get me wrong, achilles is an amazing sniper and tsw was the best sniper clan, but I don't have a clue what you were tryin to say about ignorance because your English is absolutely horrendous.

I'm not sure if you're assuming I don't know the tsw people, which if false I used to play in their server with them, or you're trying to say I'd assume that you don't know them because you're new, which makes no sense since they were the last sniper clan alive and that wasn't too long ago.

Mani you having a good score with a high ping in a public server that was probably full of Aussies and/or awful Americans proves nothing. Notag was terrible, I'd been banned there countless times too for "aimbotting" on mt, if the stats were still up you'd see I always had the top 3 slots in efficiency

I agree with the last thing you said, keeping your mouth gets you nowhere in this commmunity, but I believe so for different reasons. Pinokkio gives me all this advice on how to become more liked, but that's the last thing I want. I could be reserved, polite, humble, and act like lumi, but I'm not trying to become liked or respected by some people I play a videogame with who live across an ocean from me. I'd hate it if half of you DIDN'T hate me, because then there would be nothing to motivate me to try in this game. I love when people say my sniper sucks because then when I dominate them with it deep down they know they were wrong, but they hate me so much they have to deny it. Hok showed me how much more fun it is to stir up the pot and spark five pages of flame than to keep my mouth shut so I don't step on anyone's toes. Call me lame or an asshole, good I'm glad you think that cause you can't change me.

And kevvo although moose is a good sniper, better than almost all except probably bart/fucker/myz/marty he's not as consistent nor capable of some of the shots I hit, although I respect how loyal you are to your leader. If anyone tried to convince me there was a better patio player than snugg I'd argue about it and never admit defeat, although I am probably wrong.
