well if you're serious about it you will succeed, but do you want it bad enough to live in foreign country?
are you serious enough about your studies? will graduation move you closer to your goals?
better ask yourself that before spending lots of monies
if you wanna freeload and fool around there are cheaper ways to do so

You think I'm gonna spend that much money on "just a trip" ?
Since they are so picky about who enters and who doesn't means that 100% of the people there will be motivated and won't pay that money just to fool around.

If I'm motivated about it ? Hell yeah. I think it's good to have goals even if they are far beyond being ambitious. I say that because it is really hard to enter there and there will be people with a better cv than me.
Will it put me closer to my goal ? Hell yeah.

About the money. Well I thought it might be my ego and my seek to do something challenging and not mainstream that makes me want to go there. But on the other hand I don't think ambition really goes along with the wisdom you were talking about.Of course paying that much money just for one year school is just irrational yeah. But if I can make this money once I can do it twice..

I'm talking like I've already been taken but I'm just applying. I just wanted to share my point of view since you thought I would go there to drink vodka on the beach all day long.

Wish you luck, California is a really chill place, and their state government is much more chill about general life than most of America (Hell, in Utah you can't even buy alcohol lol).

But yeah, try to get those things in order. I dunno if you have ties to North America at all, but research those. If you have friends or family, that could be of benefit as well. Need a student visa to be an international student, and be sure you be wise because tuition rates internationally are up the wazoo.

In terms of artsy shmartsy stuff, UCBerkeley is the place to be. San Francisco (although full of flaming homosexuals) is a chill spot and great for the cinema crowd. Or NYC. But NYC is expensive as shit

in this particular case tuitions fees for residents and internationals are the same if I understood well. And yeah I checked NYC :P

NYC is great but just the city is fucking crazy to live in and expensive haha, I wouldn't recommend it (but I totally would if you have the guts).

That's crazy that tuitions like that. Is it just California?
