Thats a cheap E-IPS 6-bit its not better in anyway from TN except viewing angle... if u want IPS get true 8-bit or there is no point of getting laggy 60hz screen. Presonly i have Samsung S27A950 and i never would go on a 60hz or any delays/lags. Since i use monitor mostly for gaming i do not consider other options than a high-end TN.

Yes 8-bit panels have the "best" reproduction and colours. 6-bit E-IPS has same ammount of colours than TN since its also 6-bit, only thing you would get better is viewing angle rest is far better on a TN even black levels.

As you said you care for games so high end TN is best option, especially if you already have a TV. No Panel is good for everything.
While reading posts here and googling more and more info about panels, I guess a modern VA will be perfect for me. Modern VA & IPS have minimal ghosting so it will be good for games too. I hope it will be significantly better for NBA games and movies.
generally the difference between IPS/TN and VA should be smth like this (ips left, va right)

but maybe i should just get a tv lolz
but then i'd have to buy homecinema too and other stuff too, cause I don't have anything for a tv

Even though they both share 6-bit color depth, E-IPS has better color accuracy than TN + better viewing angles.Thats a cheap E-IPS 6-bit its not better in anyway from TN except viewing angle... if u want IPS get true 8-bit or there is no point of getting laggy 60hz screen. If I was a serious gamer, I'd get a 120Hz TN display. Else I would go for IPS or even E-IPS instead of TN. You won't notice any delay/lag with 60Hz unless your eyes are used to 120Hz. And if I recall correctly, Doc wasn't serious about gaming and there's no advantage with 120Hz over 60Hz while watching movies that run ~24 fps.

What made you go with Samsung in the 120Hz category? I know theyre ghosting free and produce awesome colours but they have higher input lag than asus or benq i think

I had a stuck pixel
you can return undamaged product if you notify the seller within 10days and then you have 14days to send it back. I told them basically, give me another panel or I'll just ask for my money back
It worked, and now I have a pretty awesome panel dead pixel free panel (though I had to send it back at my own expense =12euro).
It's closer to a TV than to a Monitor(at least compared to craptops and small tns). I can sit on my couch and watch a movie from 3m away. Colors on the default setting are awful but after playing around with OSD helped a lot. Haven't played any fast paced games yet, so I can't say nothing about delay. It should be comparable to modern ips panels so completely acceptable for a sunday gamer that i've become.
