atleast for me its like 3-4kg more per hand on flatbench. But i'd prefer to do it mostly on incline with dumbbels.. Gotta say thats one of my favourite!
what kind of a guys does it with 12kg LOL? are they around 10yo or wut

dont get to cocky because you might make a fool out of yourself picking up 20+ and not completing the exercises

Personally i like to do it like this:
3 sets of incline dumbbel benchpress:
first set with weights where u can do like 6-8 reps,
2nd and 3rd set with weights where u can do 10-15 reps.
using this method you gain both strenght and muscles, and this have been good tactic for me..
BUT ITS JUST ME, and this was kinda offtopic already but ohwell.. just saying.
EDIT; i take some of my words back since i noticed you are from belgium.. ppl are so skinny there so it explains alot.

masi thats a very good tactic. im usin that 1 aswel.not getting any cocky cause im weak as fuck aswell, but when i started i did it with 17kg's.. depends on how old are they, since if they are over 20yo, 12kg is just fucking epic, even if they are beginners.. oh and the excercises doesnt have to be so clean always, if you do it like that way everytime you train, you dont get strenght so fast..

funny that many dont do this.. ull get good and fast result from it.
most start like 20.. and go 22 second 24 /26 3rd set.. wich is also good.. makes u stronger.. but result will take longer..
its not about the weight.. its about doing the exircise well,, coz at the end.. u wont a god body ha?

You prob walk around with 12 standard right ?
But ye dnno how old you are active but 12 should be kind of easy, when i was 18 i started with around 14-16 i think, and i was skinny as shit!

do you even lift masilol, just try it? simple as that.

So if u do like 14 kilos incline u definitlye should try 18 in flat.

It's winter time now so that means bulking for me now and take some shakes! gonna train in couple hours and I start bench 10x 100 6x 110 4 x 120 and maybe 1x 130 just starting to train with heavy weights now since i trained one year very lightly! then I'm gonna do the incline press but fly's and take around 38 kilo's , If i do the normal press in stead of flys its kinda useless for me because the weights in our gym only go to 38 and Its like peanuts after so many years , so I might do that excercise in the end a bit. Our gym should buy some weights up to 50 kilo but ..
anyway its winter time so start gaining weight and muscles

Just pick a weight and stick to 8-12 reps, if you can do 12 per set, up the weight.
