Mumble and good communication combined with skill is the only key to victory, you can have the best communication possible, if you're not able to land that nade or outaim that person you're not going to win. Most of us have played for many years, rarely someone came to our community and became a "pro" under two years, it's just not how things go, it's a learning process.


Sure people like -me- for example were already "pro" 10 years ago when we started, because the skill level was so much lower, but entering a community that's been up and running for over 10 years, it's really hard to get into that or become any good in it in a short period of time.


I used to play hours of public back in the old days, shit is just not possible anymore lol, public is dead, you can only improve during scrims but not when you have your ass whooped 20/5 in every war.

- Try to use your own settings, many people asking what the best command is, there is no best command since everybody should set it to what he likes. Of course some commands will help for a boost in smoother gameplay, but settings like mousesettings and fov etc is personal.

- War every clan or team if you can, if you can play a bad or good clan don't play a bad clan just because you can win, go for the challenge.

- Everybody talks here you need perfect teamwork, there is none, not even in pro clans. You need as well whores as players who die for the team. To be more clear, you must communicate based on how the rounds are going. A controversial subject since whores are not appreciated in the game, but if the enemy lacks the patience to hold decently, try to take your time why not. It's their problem.

- Watching demos only has effect to see how to throw certain nades or some timings, but imo it doesn't help you much more. Don't waste too much time on this unless you like watching ofc

- Don't get surprised by the opponent, get your members to learn all maps or at least the maps which are being played. On sof we rarely war on maps so you're lucky on this one.

- Sometimes you need to be sneaky, if you do it good you can grab better members from other clans, don't focus only on skill but also managing.

- In game, imagine what you would do in the opponent's situation.

- And play a lot like everyone says here, you'll get to know what people do faster especially since it's a small community so you'll face opponents several times.

skills > teamwork

but teamwork aka mumble skills can aid you alot in games you are on similar skill lvl as the opponent, that's why junior is a good sof2 player and that's why what forgay said is true

to back it up, c4 wins most of the time because they have best players skill-wise - but also they know how to play from team perspective, it's also the thing that makes them good
s35 ros bro and clans like that overachieved at times because players there were active, good communicators and played to win not to get a good score
at least that's what I think it was

also average players(like myself) sometimes are only good for some positions so you have to manage them to their strengths

from team building perspective, like forgy said, unless you wanna reshape team completely, only keep morons and whores if they are your best players...
if they are average get good communicators instead of them. Surround yourself with good communicators and good players will get more frags. I had shitloads
of kills on roof in bro because camper and jr told me everything from pat and I just nade/side kills, it's easier if you know things

plus it's more satisfying to play like that, it gave me much more joy to play with guys who care to win and help you
