bashing him doesn't help this topic, and well he still contributed IMO because his opinnion presented different POV
while I don't agree with him and I have hard time trying not to convince him I'm trying to at least respect him as a person if I have a hard time respecting his religion.

I think the meaning of our lives should be progress. It's in our nature and we wouldn't have gotten this far without the curiosity that we have, but it'd be nice to see more of the praise-allah-all-your-life-mentality people to think that way also. What kind of a god is that: creates people and requires them to do nothing but praise him. What a selfish prick.

As for the religious people better withstanding death, I don't totally agree. Take Christians for example: you die and you get judged from all the sins in your life that decide whether you life happily ever after (which only a madman would agree to), burn in hell (cause God loves you) or get stuck in a limbo doing shit.

I don't know the exact word for that but I'm totally deisth. By that word I mean that I'm totally sticking to this sentence: what has no answer shouldn't be asked. But still, to oneself a bit intelligent the question remain : what's the meaning of life ?

On my side, ( and as sad as it can be) I'm a existentialist by pure reason. What I mean by pure reason is that deep inside me unconsciously I think there is something more because I've been taught like that my whole life as any of you. But still I made the choice to not follow that thought.


I do think we are here by pure randomness without any goal. I do think that our great lives are just dust to the people we pass by in the subway. I guess it feels sad to lots of you but it's what I learned from my french teacher ( who I fucking HATED btw) either you accept the meaningless of life and you deal with it either you live in a dream.
So my own opinion is that you have to find your own fake dream about life.

"your own fake dream" that sounds so sad but yet I guess it's true. Where you gonna find the real beautiful essence of life is in the vacuous of itself. You have to accept that the meaning you put on it is totally fake and is a dream but it is yours and that's what makes it how awesomely beautiful it is. Finding your own goal as empty it is to the world and as powerful it is to you is a great thing in my opinion. I'm a bit confused there but it's wierd because it's the saddest but yet most beautiful thing I could think of. Nothing is more relevant than the present when you know the future and the past are just insignificant. You can't have a bit of a touch of your existence till you truly forget how it's gonna end. And that's in no way an acceptance you have to make. It's a discovery and the nicest you could do.

So yeah Basically I'm asking for debate, thoughts and whatsoever. As I can recall this thread hasn't any place for any religion related thoughts. Because religion is a mass thought. I want personnal opinions.

Also in my opinion this question shouldn't even be asked.

Everything in existence is a cause of vibration a fine tune that glues every atom together.

 

All the heavenly bodies are in the right place even the slightest change will have dire consequences for life on earth (More crimes on full moon human body water maybe little pseudoscience hihi:x)
