I have always been in love with the sport, so much so that I tend to go off on moments where I'll watch a shitload of videos of past clips and highlights of many different players. So post some of your favorite clips here!
that's a nice one, I don't remember seeing it
btw here's best compilation I've found so far of IMO the best dunker of all-time
you will likely enjoy it whether or not you like basketball

Vince Carter definitely #3.
#1 Daryl Dawkins
#2 Dr. J
#3 Vince Carter
none of dr.j dunks would make vince top10 please
daryl dawkins did have power and hoops as well but he had smaller arsenal of dunks and not as much fluidity as vc
I'm gonna go with that!

Daryl Dawkins broke the fucking backboard not once but TWICE.
In a game against the Kansas City Kings in November 1979, Dawkins threw down such a massive dunk that the backboard shattered, sending the Kings' Bill Robinzine ducking. Three weeks later he did it again. A few days after that the NBA ruled that breaking a backboard was an offense that would result in a fine and suspension.
Dawkins named the first backboard-breaking dunk "The Chocolate-Thunder-Flying, Robinzine-Crying, Teeth-Shaking, Glass-Breaking, Rump-Roasting, Bun-Toasting, Wham-Bam, Glass-Breaker-I-Am-Jam." [1]
He named other dunks as well: the Rim Wrecker, the Go-Rilla, the Look Out Below, the In-Your-Face Disgrace, the Cover Your Head, the Yo-Mama, and the Spine-Chiller Supreme. The 76ers also kept a separate column on the stat sheet for Dawkins’s self-created nicknames: "Sir Slam", "Dr. Dunkenstein", and "Chocolate Thunder."
Also, he claimed to be an alien from the planet Lovetron where he spent the off-season practicing "interplanetary funkmanship" and where his girlfriend Juicy Lucy still lived.[3]
Now tell me that isn't BALLER LOL. It's personal preference, really. I have a LOT of love for Vince, and yeah he's got a LOT of respect, but even Vince respects the father of dunking.
...The In-Your-Face DISGRACE LOLLLLLLLLLLLLL

the same way guys like dr.j, wilt chamberlain paved way for mj and shaq but
realistically if you put them head2head you know mj and shaq would outplay them,
talking about PURE skills and ability not accolades and stats ofc

Paul Pierce 39 points in a game vs Kobe and Lakers back in 2005-06 season. I remember watching this, the celtics were pretty bad during these times (2nd best player was Wally Sczerbiak) but Pierce was truly in his prime then. Check out the dunk over Chris Mihm after he blows by Kobe.
Paul Pierce is one of my all-time favourite players, I love his confidence and swag
I agree that pierce slowed down since say 2008(he will still that good in 2008 i think..), he is perhaps even better shooter now, his skills are maybe even more polished but he lost some of his speed and quickness.
He is still a great player though.

that was a nice video, killer shot off the dribble!
