Do you support Syrian Rebels or Assad Government?

reasons being
*alawites, shiites > sunnis (craziest version of muslims)
*rebels are making life tough for christians they already beheaded a christian bishop(for siding with Assad; msot of christian minority side with Government which warrants them some religious freedoms) Not that i am christian - but i feel closest to them and as a European I guess we should support anyone it should be them
*rebels have a strong al-queda related and funded wing which imo are the worst type of people to support
*removing Assad will put bigger losers in his place vide Lybia, Egypt
in this light I see that US support of rebels is only to weaken Iran/Russia and it is really short sighted cause it might end like Afghanistan(us funded turbans turning agianst them- see rambo3 for reference LMAO)
Do anyone else follow the situation?

I do not support the rebels blindly also, because some groups among the rebels have attacked Kurdish area's which is under control of the YPG. Also the 'opposition' did not consider or name the Kurds and their rights. Therefor, i do not think they are different from this point of view.
However, i do support an Islamic state as long as the majority of the people supports this.
Thanks in advance.
Also, the question of this topic is not correct.
We as humans (and me as muslim), have to name bad things as bad and good things as good. Both options got bad things and we gotta name this. But the rebels have also good things, and we gotta name this also. But this does not mean we have to choose a side. The question intends us to choose a side. But thanks Doctorfunk to bring this under the attention. Cause, the world is really more then sof XD
