no one ever said holland was far superior to belgium, but the character shown by the dutch squad is far superior to what belgium showed imo. Also, like u said, Argentina locked the match against you guys after 20 minutes, which is of course a completely different situation compared to this match' situation (as IMO this match was completely even and ur match was pretty much over after 20 minutes).

we didnt create much, argentina didnt create much, it was a match played on a super high strategic level (props to both NL's & ARG's defense/organisation). Argentina definitely played on a higher level than every previous match they played imo and holland also played a pretty solid game. Shame that the wheel of fortune rolled in argentina's favor during the shoot-out. Although I have to admit, Cilissen is possibly the worst penalty-stopper I've ever seen on an international (or even national lol) level. But in the end it doesn't really matter, neither NL nor ARG is going to stand a chance against this germany, so its okay i guess.

Was a good run for Holland and they can be proud on what theyve achieved..

Well, they created nothing vs us apart from that lucky goal and one Messi counter in like 80th minute or something because we were even playing with our backs up front, Courtouis saved it like a boss. The fact they killed the game means they knew they would lose if they would play open and give us space.. but I guess that's modern football for you.. same shit happened in Arg vs NL, game was locked for like 80 minutes.. and chances started to flow in the last 10 mins.. kinda lame and fucking ugly to watch...

Camiel made it seem that way, not you lol.. his comment was absolutely bullshit. Belgium has a good squad, only a blind man would disagree.. and being in the Worldcup for the first time after like 12 years, I would have signed for a place in the quarter finals, so in that aspect.. both NL and BE did fantastic.

imo not a lucky goal, but one of the better goals of the wc (which i guess could be called unlucky for belgium) messi had a 1on1, higuain had 2 more 1on1s (even hit crossbar in one of them if i recall correctly), but yeah, they created little chances, but the ones they did create were 100% chances imo. Argentina would never play open, as they havent done that once yet this WC, its just not the way they play. they play from a sick organization which leaves zero room to their opponents which could be seen vs NL (NL also tried to play the same way), while still being able to create SOME good chances due to individual skill.

but yea i guess you could say both nl and be had a good run ;)

They hardly created anything vs us lol.. and their goal only happened because the ball deflected from a defender perfectly into Higuains run, yes it was a nice goal but at the same time it was lucky.

Belgium couldn't do much because of their organisation yeh, if they did create small but 100% chances like you said, it's because we actually tried to go forward tbh, leaving space for them to do -something-, which they didn't. How many times did we end up in 1v1? It was always 11 vs 11 on their own half, they never even tried. If that Mirallas header went in, I'm 100% sure we would've beat Argentina.

It'll be interesting to see how Germany is going to beat this, pretty certain Germany will win.. but it won't be 1-7, if they win 0-1 or 1-2 or something they had a good run.

Belgs were all biggy before the WC started, but now you like that 1/4 final spot? Don't know why they were called the dark horse of the WC, because the only ''serious'' opponent they've played was Argentina, which you lost in regular time. I guess you wouldn't even make it to the knock out stage if you were in our group. You have a good squad, sure, but half of them are overrated and theres missing a real star. If you come up with something lame such as: germany doesn't have a star either... think again, because that's bullshit.

NL did fantastic, like 4 years ago. Belgium was a pain in the ass to the people who thought they could grab a top 4 spot.

Ah man you're such a wanker lol. Have you even seen Germany struggle vs Algeria for example? Algeria nearly fucking won.

Yeh, we were in the "easy" group, with countries who did nothing but defend with 11 in their own box and try the counter, even Argentina played like that vs us. Only one opponent that actually tried to force something vs Belgium, that was USA.. and they "got a beating", should've been like 0-10 but we didn't score once.

Belgium could've easily been in last 4, it was a coin flip. We have the youngest team with the least experience of the final 8, that says something. You're just blind because of your hatred for Belgium tbh.

I remember Russia searching for a goal more than you did. Anyways, it's not because I hate a certain team, I just don't like the hyped Belgs, because they aren't as good as they think they are. Maybe in 4 years, as I already stated before. Bunch of overrated big names with a few good young players.

You're so funny because NO ONE here is overhyping Belgium, I mean IN Belgium.. people were sceptical we would make it throught the group stages. You can't say we are cocky or hype ourselves, we don't think we are the best.. maybe that's what your newspapers tell you, it's not what goes on in Belgium lmao. If anything, we underestimate our team.. because after the first game vs Algeria we didn't think we would make it throught the group stages.

Our team played so nervous, especially vs Argentina we played with nerves and a lot of respect, it's the only reason we even lost imo. Argentina was shyte in all their games except the finals they finally showed some skill. They played with a turtle formation to get there.. and so did Holland tbh, park the bus and play counter.

ARG vs NL was a perfect example of that, both teams parked the bus and were afraid to go forward, was a pain to watch.

The only thing that went on in Belgium was happiness and excitement because of the fact we were part of WC again after more than 12 years, that's only logical.. but yo, sorry if you took offense to that lmfao.

@Abu Watch Messi come out with some big news in the coming 2-3 years that he has cancer or some shit... because the puking he does nearly every game is not healthy lol.. he has a serious illness I think.
