The favorites are CLEARLY Brasil lol, then Spain and then Argentina. Portugal barely made it past Sweden, Ronaldo is a beast but this ain't a one man show.. Germany, don't think they'll go are far as last two World Cups, altho you never know.. they have a good mix of young and old players.

 

I hope Belgium does well, if we survive our groupstage (which would be a shame if we don't) we will most likely meet Portugal, really believe we have a solid chance vs Portugal.. if we do beat Portugal we most likely face Argentina.. I think they'll be the ones to knock out Belgium.

Yeh maybe, problem with Belgium is they don't have any special players, other than Eden Hazard and Januzaj, who are both young and not consistent enough. We don't have a Suarez, Messi, Ronaldo, Ibrahomovic etc.. or Robben. We have a crazy strong squad tho, but not a really outstanding player. I guess you need that kind of player to even make it to the finals.

Yea bladhark kinda fucked it up, but I was more aiming on there positions/goals, iniesta would be suited in a line with Gerrard, Alonso, Xavi.

 

Since the other line are scoring machines, and Iniesta had just 3 goals (+10 assist)... (In la liga+CL this year)

 

But yea he played 5 times as a FWL... but then he aint near a ronaldo.

It doesn't matter what position you are in.. what I meant is we don't have a worldclass forward or midfielder, I mean they're more than decent ofc.. Witsel, De Bruyne, Hazard and Mertens for example are really skilled.. but not up there with the ones I named. It's that kind of player Belgium misses. I have a feeling we will tie Algeria because we won't be able to break open their defense.

 

Hazard could become such a player but he's still too young.

That would not be the only reason, Algerie is strong team bro with Feghouli and Bentaleb , decent experience defenders from Serie A and Bundesliga. African teams have a strange way of tactical playstyle, I think Belgium aint gonna loose, but a win is really hard against those.
