I shouted it once or twice in the shoutbox, but sof2 gold is still alive for those who want to play now and then.
Every day there are mixwars (pugs) played on the discord. Everyone can easily join by typing ++ in the pug-channel.

yo , i have gold but when i want to join server for pugs i got kickec , some reason ? or where i dl it again ?
That could be due to many things, but let's assume it's due to missing mod folder (fragpit mod). Other common reasons for getting 'kicked' is non-working punkbuster.
Quick installation guide:
1. Download SoF2 1.00 / 1.03 somewhere
2. In case it is 1.00 make sure to patch it to SoF2 Gold
3. Make sure to run pbsvc.exe (punkbuster services) to enable punkbuster connection.
4. To be even more sure, replace the stock punkbuster folder with an alternate working on as the stock version might give some trouble
5. Make sure to have the mod the server runs (e.g., Fragpit servers run Fragpit mod, so get that one)

Also, where are my amex buddies and the rest of the nostalgic people on DB? Come n shoot with/against me!
There's quite a lot of demo players already playing: ghostbuster, reander, snowiie, malign, angel, barre, dark, renegade, drnknmnky and lumi/camham will probably be joining us as well. Even xillax made his appearance in a mix
