Your run is going fine until the extraction timer starts, somebody fires from a roof, and your full bag suddenly feels like a death sentence. That's the part of ARC Raiders many players still misread after 1.36. Better matchmaking, bug fixes, and stronger loot around key areas help, but they don't turn every raid into a free ride. Chase ARC Raiders BluePrints when the route is safe, not when three squads are already trading shots near the exit. A clean extract with two useful parts beats a heroic wipe with a stuffed inventory. Fair enough-some people just want the fight. They'll burn through kits faster.

Loot First, Noise Second

The 1.37 store refresh is useful, but your raid habits matter more than whatever rotates into the shop. Open containers even when they look picked over-container XP still counts. Turbine zones deserve extra time when you need blueprints or high-tier components, though don't linger once you hear another team moving in. Keep these jobs in order.

  1. Use free loadouts during early raids and learn one extraction route per map.
  2. Open nearby containers before crossing open ground for a distant box.
  3. Parkour onto ledges or through broken cover instead of sprinting down obvious lanes.
  4. Run Night Mode audio and cut unnecessary movement noise during Hurricane weather.
Hot Drops Punish Autopilot

On paper, a hot drop looks simple: land early, grab the best room, win the first gunfight, leave rich. Most players lose the run before the loot even settles. They rush Turbine, empty their magazine into the first target, then stand still to sort gear while the third party closes from the next corridor. Raw aim won't save that habit. Let the opening fight run for a few seconds, listen for reloads and revives, then enter from the side with a barricade ready. Clear the first threat, take only blueprints, medical supplies, and components you can carry, then move. If a Vulcano or Bobcat is loaded, keep it for the close-range player who pushes your cover-not for random shots across the room.

Build For The Next Raid

Free kits are the right call early. They teach enemy patterns without making every death feel expensive. Once you're extracting regularly, put upgrade materials into durability and rate of fire before chasing fancy side options. Renegade and an upgraded Ferro give dependable damage across normal engagements. Barricades do the ugly work: block a chokepoint, buy time for a heal, or break line of sight during an escape. In late-game runs, fold Trials Season 5 challenges into your farming route and spend endgame skill tree points carefully. Mobility and survivability usually keep more loot alive than a tiny damage bump.

Questions Before You Queue

Should you contest the first hot drop? Only when your squad has a quick path out and enough healing to survive the cleanup. Is it smart to buy gear every time? No-review each death first. If audio awareness or bad positioning got you killed, buy ARC Items won't repair that decision. Run three raids with one goal: learn the route, wait out one fight, and extract before greed takes over.
