It started when georgian armies have intruded into Southern Osethia (no ideas how it is on english) and attacked its capital city Tskhinvali (Tanks, artilleries, mortars etc.etc.) City is destroyed, about 2000 innocent people were killed (at least it has been said so). So the "peacemakers" are trying to keep Southern Osethia (and again sorry if its wrong) from georgian agressors. At least it is official info i heard.

i think georgia had troops in russia part and russia wanted to get them away and than russia start bomb georgia and georgia said troops are away, but russia say now troops still there so they got some parts of georgia atm -.-' i think!

Nop. It started with a rebellion. Georgia went to push it down, but Russia, stupid as always thought It's an attack againist their people so they declared a war. South-Ossetia is a part of Georgia, Sam. They declared independence, but UN didn't diplomatically recognize it, so basically they're still part of it.
There are 2 kind of people in Russia, nice and good russians and onions, who are fucking morons.
Too bad Russians are getting whooped atm. They didn't think that Georgia has so much firepower. Georgians already destroyed over 30 russian tanks yesterday while russians only got few. Georgia also shot down few planes. Russians also moved about 6000 troops to Georgia through the tunnel of Roki and about 2000 soldiers came with ships.
Yes, Putin is still in charge and giving commands to Medvedev.
Probably there's no country who will send their troops to help Georgia because Georgia isn't in NATO & EU.
Ukraine said that if Russia will move to war with their battleships then they won't make it back in one piece. Also Ukraine won't let russian ships to their port.
Russians will always find a way to declare war, that's why they're so fucking stupid.

Dunno why you keep calling Russia stupid, 'cause they're playing the game really smart obviously... They have lots of interests in the region so any large nation would intervene in this situation; they're just hypocrite considering how they ignored Tsjetjenia's call for independence.
I'd say let the people in S-Osetia decide and they'd decide to become independent. If you look into history, sooner or later they'll become independent anyway but the way this is going I think the conflict will end, once again, only by firearms.

Because they're fucking morons. Russia is based on lies. Also if you know about Cold War when Russia bombed their own base and said to world that Finland did it and after that they declared a war.
Also russian media said that they found hitmen or Baltic States from South-Ossetia and few US hitmen. I wonder how stupid can this country be. Russian media is owned by their goverment. Journalists who want to tell the truth will be killed, like Anna was. It's just sad what's happening there.

Yeah if army would start genocide, they woulda declared a war and they would be right. It's not that i support actions of russian goverment, but it is obvious that actions of gerogias goverment are also not admissible.
Plus it is pretty weird, that Russia has accepted more than 30 000 refugees, why would people run away from Georgians, if there is nothing wrong with them.
