I know Kendrick is the most hyped hiphop artist of 2012 and I know he's a great lyricist.
But some of his tracks sound too generic imo. (Swimming pools, ADHD)

Next to the pads/rhodes (which are pretty cool), the percussion sounds generic to me. Hihats in particular.
But alright, overall it isn't that generic, my bad. Judged too fast. Swimming pools sounds way more generic.
