It's easy to do that. U don't even need a special camera. Just some specia flash mode.

flash? no flash used here. it's easy indeed, no 'special' modes needed (can't be done on automatic though), I'm waiting for the first person to give the right solution

It's just a campfire and he used some duplicate tool from photoshop, not sure which one, he probably first cut out the campfire too in a second layer, else the background would be stretched like that too.

Yea...It's sort of slow-mode photographing as the camera sort of collects the info to reflect from the inside mirror thingy with a bigger interval...meaning if you flash around with fire or with some special glowing sticks made for it in the meanwhile the result is similar to malydok's.OR you just hold the lens of your camera open for a long time, and then 'write' that stuff in mid-air.. and then close your lens (I fail at explaining shit properly in English)

It was pretty popular for some time among hobby photographers...almost entire flickr was filled with pictures like this lol.

I fail at explaining this in English but i basically know what needs to be done to get this result...(no photoshop or after editing in pc)

ThomaS is correct, it's just a longer shutter opening. Here it was 13 seconds. You open the shutter and draw what you want, but it's not that easy since the lightsource doesn't move and you have to move the camera blindly, cause you don't get any preview while it's taking the picture.
You sure have seen this technic before, like some photo like this (most of the night photos of a road will look like this, if there are cars crossing ofc):
I just tried to push it to come out with something different.
