I've had some discussions with my friends about the election and everybody kind of agreed Obama would be the best. I'm still not fully convinced though, not that I would vote for McCain, but I just think that there's too much money involved with the election that it's hard to really believe someone. The candidates' policies all depend on the companies that sponsor them. If I'd be a company sponsoring Obama's (1,5 year long!!) campaign, I'd want something in return, don't you?
But like I said, I'd still vote for Obama. The last debates he stayed cool, even though McCain's attacks were getting more desperate and irrational. I think his ideas concerning the economy are okay (I don't know all of them). For instance, he wants to raise the taxes on the high incomes. I've read that some of you don't agree with this, but in a country like America there isn't another solution. America has one of the highest Gini coefficients, meaning there is a great gap between poor and rich. You've got people dying in the streets and, on the other hand, people buying champagne for their dogs. Come on?
I'd like to conclude with saying how much I'd hate McCain to be the president of the USA. I can't imagine what kind of stupidities he or Palin would say when they'd come to Europe. I'm just saying that in Europe (especially in Western Europe) we have a very open vision regarding politics and in some ways we look at America as retards. Europeans are very adaptive and they change their habits if needed. Americans are too stubborn to do so. For instance; could you imagine an American driving a Smart because that way he'd consume less fuel and help the environment? I couldn't, cause they just keep driving their boats cause fuel prices are so low. Over here, we're used to high oil prices and we act like it.
Just my 5 cents.

Barack Hussein Obama.
nuff said were gonna get bombed and demolished once he gets elected.
And this is why america is so close minded, thank god Im in Canada where I don't have to associate my idea's with the people in america, please america educate these people, PAY TEACHERS MORE, Idk do Something. Ugh its exactly comment's like this....
Anyway's blazor that statement comparing Obama and Palin.. Lol.
Did you watch the debates? McCain and his so called Experience didn't help in it, Obama easily won it, not to mention in the VP debate, Palin just basically overused the word "Maverick" and repeated herself, while Joe Biden was out there.
Obama AND Joe Biden over McCain and Palin, kthx.
And you think Palin helped Alaska? Oh no, she did some good thing's I won't deny that but its such a isolated and small place compared to the whole United States, not to mention read up on some of the corruption she held there as well.
If Obama gets assassinated we're stuck with Biden.. does anyone have a problem with that? I don't, personally I think that man know's what hes doing same goes for Obama. Change is what the USA need's, not the same bullshit that Bush did and then year's later 96 percent of the USA whines about, and now there voting for the exact same thing over? What the fuck is wrong with the citizens, if you choose McCain the current system WILL stay, hardly anything will change if not get worse.
Oh and not to mention Palin is against abortions like I think xillax said? Not sure but fuck how retarded is that? An abortion is the person's choice, why the fuck shouldn't it illegal? Not to mention Palins daughter is fucking pregnant without a father, what if she got an abortion?

Economy = shit, banks are totally messed up. what, 15 banks already in bankrupt? and there's more to come. Depression incoming in USA -> Affects Europe really hard. Bush's 8 years of shit economic leading has come to an end.
War in Iraq = failure. There're only small fragments of democracy in Iraq, which was one of the reasons to go there. Bring democracy to Iraq.
Oil prices are going down because of depression, oil doesn't sell that hard -> USA isn't getting money.
Eliminating terrorism. Only few key members have been caught and killed. Now terrorism is shattered from 1 big organisation to smaller, more efficient groups and clans.
Overall, 5 years of warring has given, nothing. Pain, agony and military costs is what USA has achieved.
So, basically we've seen shitload of bullshit in USA in the past 8 years. Now, democrats might actually give a chance to USA to start developing the country as it was when Bill Clinton was a president.
Kyrie eleison.

xillax.. what you said is true.. but i live in the deep south.. and i have honelstly never lynched anyone in my life.. well not the deep DEEP south but there are some pretty racists fucks...black or white...and waht experience does obama have that palin doesnt..palin fought against corruption in alaska(and the corruption was about oil i think, so we wont be bombing any countries for oil any time soon) and neither of them has foreign policy experience and shit.. so i think palin has more experience that obama in leading a group of people (even if it was a small group of people...alaska)
[and if you covered all this stuff in your 'speech' lol...jsut tell me because i couldnt read all of it...i was too busy eating and cheeseburger and looking for my helmet and waterwings....i could get seriously hurt without them]
Obama is way more experienced.
I've been hearing about Obama 3-4 years ago already in school(in the UK, not even the US).
He's been up & coming for years now and was already labeled president material years ago, and a lot of people, even in his first year thought he might be the first black president.
Palin is nothing, nut cut nothing.
