Hello.

So sk had proposed earlier this week to play the semi-final this evening and we said that we'll do it if we can get enough. Few days ago we came to the conclusion that we wouldn't have enough players able to play it this evening and came to the conclusion that we need to postpone the match and play it next week. We talked about it on our forums and G said he would talk to katana. Now ze is saying that katana told him that we've lost by a forfeit. Apparently g couldn't come online to talk to katana and postpone the match or then he just forgot, either way we all thought the match was postponed and therefore didn't show up.

Now I hear this: "katana. says:
but yeah ush wants a ff".

And I'm asking you, what the hell is that?! It's the freaking semi-final, you don't take a forfeit in the semi-final because of a misunderstanding. Even if sk really is that lame and wants to take the forfeit, the admins shouldn't give it to them. It's the semi-final, we didn't know we were supposed to play now, the match hadn't even been posted here on the forums yet, so only a few of haze even knew about it. This has been a good cup so far, with a lot of good matches played and I'm sure everyone wants to finish it fair as well, so we need to set a new date and time for the match.

I set the date for today and told in our forums it was today. G replied there and said we couldn't do it this friday because some members wouldnt be able to play, and also said he was gonna talk to katana to extend the date.

It was a missunderstood, we haven't talked to g yet, dunno what happened with him. Maybe we can set it to some other day if all parts agree, if not it's sad since it's a semi final..

But i agree with the part that a forfeit is lame during a semi-final
But rules are rules and you had 2 weeks to play for a 1 hour ''poonage'' wich you failed to do so

BUT BUT! since ush said it's all up to me to make the decision, i give -HaZe- till next sunday to play!

When did you tell ush/katana that you guys couldn't play? Cuz we were waiting for you guys, and I reckon ush told us @ around 10 o clock that you couldn't make it.. kinda lame not to tell us earlier than this, if you know G couldn't play since way back.

Anyways, your right Seych, forfeit in the semi-finals isn't right, so lets re-schedule and play this match.

sorry we are not trying to make u look guilty at all. it was our mix up not anyones fault but ours. and we aren't crying lol we are just asking if we can extend the date due to the missunderstanding. And since u told us we lost for ff, we were trying to make u guys reconsider that's all

I realise its lame to forfait a semi final and im glad that it has been extended but cmon haze you had 2 weeks to play ONE match.

Heh, well I'm not blaming sk for the noshow, that was our fault and a communications breakdown on our side, and at least I'm sorry about that, sucks if you guys were ready and waiting. But at the time I was writing this topic katana and ush were apparently sharing everyone the info that its a forfeit win, and how you guys want the forfeit and that's it. So I was pretty amazed by that and wanted to share my disappointment towards sk for taking the forfeit. But now it's all good and how it should be and thanks katana and sk for keeping it fair.

What comes to having two weeks arranging the match, this ain't the first time the match deadlines are exceeded, no-where near the first time, nor it will be the last time. Also I havent seen sk proposing any dates earlier either, at least not here on the forums. But no point in arguing about this anymore I'd think that everyone agrees that making a forfeit out of a semi-final would somewhat ruin the cup and it wouldn't serve its purpose of showing who's the best.
